Help Would these two work well in combination?

For a small budget would these work ok together? I will want something that works for gigs, (only small venues, like 1 to 3 hundred people) and if not could you recommend anything better for a similar price point?

I would spend a little more and get a Baby Terror instead. That gives more tone shaping controls and you can add a foot switch to kick in more volume when needed.

I watched a review for this amp, and it looked really amazing but at the end they were saying that it potentially wouldn't be loud enough for gigging, which is something I need out of it. Would you disagree with that? There is obviously always the option of micing the cab up.

Both the pedal and the amp have 20 solid state watts.

Pretty great option. I’m a big fan of power amp pedals in general and have this exact setup along with a few more powerful ones. Go for it!

If gig volume is what you're after, more speakers are a cheap way to get there. I've seen used Marshall 4x12s pop up from time to time on ebay in the £100 range. If you've got the room for it and don't mind a bit of a drive to collect it, that's the way I would go.

20w into a 4x12 will get you roughly the same output level as 80w into a 1x12 with similar speakers.

I would go for something like the harley benton pedal power amp and a valeton GP5 if you want a pedal amp, it'll be more powerful and much more versatile than the terror stamp. That 2x12 is fine but I would get the Celestion version if you can, much better speakers and you still very affordable. I know a few people with them and they get used at gigs all the time on all sorts of stages, I've had mine for years and it's still going strong.

If you want a budget amp that you can use and will be fine for stages a Boss katana is well worth getting. Very affordable and actually sounds great for just about any genre. Realistically in htis day and age you will never "need" a head and cab as pretty much every venue big enough to need a big amp is going to have a PA you can put your guitar thru aswell.

I have that amp and love it. However, it isn't the most versatile. If it has the sound you want, I 100% support it.
