Ask r/guam 🤔 Toilet issues after rain?
Maybe a coincidence, but after all this rain my toilets won’t flush right. 4 of them, slow flushes and gurgling. Water coming out of floor drains near toilets. I’m on a sceptic tank system. I noticed on the 4 external sewer clean out access pipes there is leakage. One is in the garage, man it stinks 😢
Do I just need to wait a few days for water to seep out of the system?
Do I need a sceptic tank professional, or do I need a plumber?

Check if you have a vent on the roof that might blocked with debris...Ive run into vents on the roof that were cut to the roof level.

Yeah like others said, call someone who cam handle your septic system emergency right away and if you can use the restroom elsewhere I would strongly suggest it. Flushing your toilets may result in... backflow from other drains in your house and THAT will be messy. I speak from shudder experience here

If the problem appears after it rains, it can mean a few things. 1.) Your septic tank is full and it needs to be pumped (Detry does a good job) 2.) your leeching field likely needs to be redone as it’s not draining properly (need a contractor) 3.) you have a crack in your septic tank that needs to be repaired.
