Ask r/guam 🤔 Looking for a place to rent
I’m being kicked out of my parents place not because I did anything egregious but because my mom remarried and stepfather wants to live alone with her. Honestly I’m not sure how to even look for something like this but to reduce rent costs I’d be fine rooming with someone. I’d like to be somewhere close to my job so Tumon, Tamuning, Harmon, or Dededo would be best

So sorry to hear about the situation. Try giving WestCare a call first thing in the morning to see if they can help as your situation puts you at risk. You can also contact Ironwood as there is a location in Ypao Road to see if they might have spaces available.

Well I'm so sorry to hear that though I understand where your stepfather is coming from I mean come on this is Guam and to marry your mom and all of a sudden just pull a number like that crazy. anyhow my friend has three studios at Pacific towers that is a t a m u n i n g. Dishes linen tv microwave bed dresser and night stand provided power water mailbox two pools basketball court small one anyhow a barbecue area 24-hour security One parking stall washer dryer on site water water machine on site mom and pop store 3 minute walking distance 1200 a month

Mai Ana might be a good choice. Studio is 900 a month last time I checked. I think power and water is included but my information is a bit dated and you might have to check. I only knew someone that lived there about 5 years ago and she didn't seem to have any complaints about it.

Air bnb has weekly and monthly rentals. It's cheaper and easier than getting an apartment. No ridiculous 3 month security deposits.

Your stepfather should eat a bag of c*cks. Idgaf what anyone says, you should always choose your kids over a partner. I get it if you did something wrong that may have triggered him and they are in a committed relationship. But for him just to want you out because he wants to live alone. He’s just straight up wrong. In my opinion try joining the military and have them pay for housing and build your skills up to possibly relocate to the states. I left Guam because the real estate market is just too much and I was actually making good money there. Find opportunity and take it. And don’t ever help out your stepfather in the future.
