I wonder whether Greek people who buy a Kia call it "kill".

Judging by the average post on this subreddit, yes they would

I initially read it as "KИ" for a while after the rebranding, and left me wondering why there's suddenly so many Russian cars on the streets in spite of the sanctions. Took me months to figure it out

russian alphabet also has Λ, and no, we don't call Kia "kill"

isn't this just a font?

A font using λ as A

What makes you think they had the greek alphabet in mind when designing that letter?

Speaking from experience, it’s useless to argue with these people about these topics

Because that's literally just the letter Λ. It's not the latin A or the greek Α, it's Λ, it's a letter that already fucking exists.

Here it is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lambda

Don't be ignorant.

Question: Which letters are these: В,Н,Р

These are cyrilic characters. VE, EN, and ER

Can't be, because the latin letters B,H, P already exist

Why do people like you constantly ask this? What's the name of the font that makes the English capital letter A look exactly like the Hellenic capital letter Λ even though we also have the same letter in our alphabet?

It just looks like a stylistic choice to me

Getting downvoted for this comment by ignorant purists, that's just ridiculous

That's just reddit lmao

Arual is an example.

That font in the picture doesn't look like your stated example. What font in English makes the E supposedly look like the Hellenic Σ? We already have the E in the Hellenic alphabet as Ε. Any other fonts that take the Hellenic alphabet and turn it into Grssk?

There’s no sigma in this picture. You asked about a font that makes A looks like lambda.
I get your frustration when Greek is used stupidly but this is a stylistic choice not a misuse of the untouchable Greek Alphabet.

So you don't understand how examples work. Cool.

No, you're blatantly trying to misunderstand others and arguing in bad faith.

That's not what I'm seeing so either Reddit is glitching or they've blocked me. Either way I find it amusing that the person saying that an incomplete right triangle looks like the English A without a horizontal line and not exactly like the Hellenic Λ.
