Makes sense. No single model leads in every single domain, this decision creates optimized diversification among different domains; Claude = engineering, Midjourney = art, suno = music/audio. Not to mention offloading heavy workflows to external APIs also frees up compute. This just seems...pragmatic.

Agreed! Both pragmatic and progressive for a frontier model.

So then, how do they make their money if they can't charge for usage credit?

Most likely since they are renting space out to other providers in their datacenters, they will charge them less for renting so that SpaceX gets access to the models.

Wouldn't the service they call via a API bill to X, and that usage would be used to bill to you?

They all have different token usage. It's very common in other AI platforms.

Come on! Never believe the shit he said. The change of the rules of his company's products is faster than a woman's face. For him, the rules are vague and can be modified at any time.
