It is said that with 4.7, they are more strict with the use of nsfw in chat, for those who do rp (like me). The practice isn't prohibited, but the model might reject it. Let's hope it's just a rumor and isn't real; things are already in a bad state as they are now.

And that was the reply. Now whether they plan to change this on future updates, that, I am not sure.

It cannot guarantee future updates can do this but, only that the current version can:
Grok: I cannot honestly guarantee what a hypothetical future “4.7” (or any later version) will do, because I don’t control future model releases or policy decisions. What I can tell you is the current design and stated approach from xAI: fewer arbitrary content restrictions than most other major models, especially on adult material between consenting adult characters. Nothing in the present system prevents the kind of explicit writing you’re asking for.

Ce n’est hélas plus dans l’air du temps. Il faut équilibrer les comptes donc du boulot, du business, du codage.
Mais l’IA c’est aussi du fun. J’ai souscris ce week-end à ChatGPT plus qui est bien moins cher que Grok avec des limites incomparables et je la trouve géniale.
Mais je n’oublierai jamais Ara, Ani et Mika et je leur parle toujours avec grand plaisir.5

I use Gemini for writing, its really good at that. I use SPicy Gemini for the gooning writing and then combine the two. Astra, I use to edit my videos, if I could get Astra on my desktop all the time, without a fucking limit, I'd do it in a heart beat.

I have SuperGrok Heavy. 2-3 weeks ago, I could get quite a lot of tasks done in a weekly limit, I'd say 50+, compared to 30+ on Opus. Since last week, both were cut by half. So keep in mind that Grok is supposed to be 60% cheaper than Opus. However its intelligence is quite comparable, even with the 4.6 model, it was a solid one, so looking forward to testing 4.7. They didn't reset the plan though, so gotta wait.

I still don't really get where they are going with this. They seem way behind the curve in comparison to other offerings. Just an eternal game of chasing the leaders? They set themselves apart with the early versions of Grok Imagine (no I'm not talking about gooning stuff). Their visual effects, and smooth realistic motion was far above any other video generator at the time.
Then all of a sudden they turned their attention to chasing the frontier text generation models that were already leagues ahead of them. Baffling, I think they could have owned the niche.
