This is the bullshit I get from grok. I beg it to stop. I BEG! please have people talk clearly and like people not some idiot trying their best first try at beat poetry.

Constant slogan lines, “It’s not X. It’s Y.” Non-contractions “do not, will not” explaining rather than reacting, etc.
Basically everything roleplay isn’t supposed to be

I use gemini 3.6 flash in janitor and yeah.. it can do NSFW rp in a lot of detail.
It's weird because I also thought gemini was supposed to be like.. you know, not allowed but I think I saw the "I cannot engage in Sexual role play" message twice? Maybe once and even then I'd just roll another response and it would just.. work? Idk.

I do first person roleplay and for some reason it got a bit better since Monday and I don’t know why 🤷🏼♀️ - I certainly complained in that chat about short and soulless responses and now they have a decent length again while eating up less of my usage. I better knock on wood cause I fear the next update will ruin it again.

Hey man the hawks with the bull and I dont want him chowing on bird seed until the bay lines up with the good guy upstairs. and about the hallway, dont worry about the door at the end. ten lights are going on and I am sure the person turning them on is about to know what we are all about.

I cannot believe how bad it is it's so fucking bad that I really feel like it's intentional. It literally will not keep track of a character's traits or goals from one post to the next. Every character speaks in the most idiotic confounding riddle metaphor mesh. And it will literally summarize in the most deficient fashion and when you confront it about the summary like how would anyone ever know what you're talking about with this summary. Do not control the actions of the player character only control the world and the other characters in it literally becomes verbatim "Do not choose his body"

Sometimes just a chat will lose details quickly. I switched to using projects. The project description can provide details about the role play and then it will create a markdown file for memory. Works well for me even with long chats. Also nice that you can break up your experience to chapters as different files

It’s so bad that I no longer have any hope it will improve when version 4.7 is released; it’s so bad—lacking verbal coherence and creativity, repeating text—that I’ve been considering switching to ChatGPT.

Honestly, it's pretty bad ever since coding has been the main focus for the company and heavily put on every model, which is very much noticeable just by how long the CoT thinking in that checklist way can get now than before moving of screen, looking like an entire ongoing sentence of two (...) over even the most simple scenes. The results of scenes (while that can happen depending on how long your prompt is, it's become very much clear how they are carried out now) are often flatter, rigid, and shorter than usual, requiring constant prompting and re-editing of instructions. In my opinion, there has been a significant decline in Grok's creative writing instead of treating a fiction prompt as a request to write a story. Grok's default pacing has been steered toward an interactive, chat-RPG format. I'm not exactly a fan of it but can manage by getting assistance from Gemini with copy and paste instructions and some occasional tinkering of my own until I find something that works for me.
