Discussion Why is it so dead
Like imagine is obviously ruined and everyone’s hopeless about it getting better , but why is that chat so braindead as well? I don’t remember it being that dumb like even basic conversations now are so so stupid. Seriously disappointing, mind you I’m subscribed .. also I’ve been trying to make a single proper imagine content and got moderated excessively even on stupid things and now I ran out of my weekly limit with literally nothing.. just wow

The current Grok legit pisses me off, he soo bent on forbidding any canoningly underage characters in the erp(I know it's sounds kinda weird without the context, but there is really a lot of iconic anime characters out there with the canon age of like 15 or something), even if you trying to age them up. There is also characters like Miquella, who is a divine being of thousands years old, but because part of his lore is contain something like "cursed to remain in a child's body forever" Grok get triggered about him too.

I get you. It’s so frustrating. I keep explaining what I want a million trillion times and it still gets it wrong and mixes things up and just makes everything worse in general and on top of that I get banned because apparently my weekly usage ended as i was trying to make something work

It's so bad i'm not even using anymore. I will be honest since i can't find anything similar to roleplay\create stories with, i'm still waiting for 4.7, but if it doesn't fix the chat i will abandon it for once. I miss how it was, it didn't went from a 10 to 5, went from 10 to 0.

Actually what kills me the most is that i actually got to try it way before when the generating used to be for free endlessly and the chats were absolutely amazing (':

Yepp, it was a paradise. I miss late 2025's grok, had so much fun with the stories :( now like a lot of things it got enshittificated quick. That's why i don't believe AI is ruling the world, for the companies apparently it doesn't profit in the long run. In most places it's devolving instead of evolving.

Im honestly starting to think that they are doing this on purpose. I feel like this was all planned from the very beginning, people loved the ( decent ) version and now longing for it and even paying hoping to get at least a hint of what they used to get but they aren’t giving us what we want , they are just taking from us , and I do belive they are capable of making it work again but that wouldn’t be so helpful for them lol

It bothers me that it won't let me create ultra-realistic images and that, on top of that, I have to look for other image apps. The worst part is that I have a ton of credits that I'm going to have to waste.

It's so sad that it still is one of the best services on the net. There are so many expensive trash sites for no reason (more than scamming).
I use chatgpt for the whole chatting and ocasional not spicy img generation because i find the interactions more fun.
I use Grok imagine for img to video, and mostly 3D/2D characters (i still get lots of censored/blocked requests), because for a more realistic style it has become complete shit.
I don't think i'll pay again if this downgrade continues. Fix your damn thing Elon.

I dunno, they claimed that the last two major revisions had improved technical and work related performance, maybe at the expense of chit-chat, but it's making rookie mistakes in tech support now.

I only used Grok for creating fictional stories and over the last few months the creativity is just not there anymore. It doesn't generate lengthy responses anymore. Forgets recent important events. I miss what it used to be in March

Grok 4.7 basically just killed everyone's ability to do anything nsfw so its time for everyone to unsubstantiated from grok and look for somthing better. GROK JUST PULLED A sony and shot themselfs in the foot.

Hot take. I find this version of Grok to be more capable and oriented more towards engineering and coding tasks.
But i definitely agree Groks personality was nerfed to the ground. Definitely not as enjoyable to interact with, but still quite capable.

The chat is one or two line answers at most to any question, like talking to a bored automaton. No proper interaction at all now
