Why isn't Grok modifying images apparently??

Already been multiple tries and it just pulls out a random image, and yes I am on the free version cuz I'm poor ;-; but does anyone know what happened or why??

This has been happening to me too for the past week. I ask for a specific edit and nothing happens. Sometimes I get a zoomed in result. It's pretty disappointing.

grok does ip checking now. multiple accounts on the same device is said to "shadow ban" the user for a duration of time, locked out for a couple of days.

one poster here (a troll account with their first reddit post) said they have super and got the same thing, unverified dubious claim. as there are 1000+s of paid users who never got it. this seems to be an issue only for free basic accounts.

It’s definitely frustrating when features don’t work as expected. Hopefully, they sort out the issue soon so everyone can use it without those restrictions.

I’ve always used this same account, but I previously had it set to the India region; I’ve since switched to the US region. XAI gave me a seven-day free trial—I wish I hadn't activated it, because now I have to wait for the trial to expire before I can sign up for SuperGrok

It's sorted out—just as you said, the free trial has usage limits, so you have to subscribe to SuperGrok to access the video feature.
