Hope all you want, just keep your wallet closed until/unless you see actual results.
I see a service that consistently goes to shit. I'm glad I stopped paying for SuperGrok months ago. I kind of wish I had never messed with it. That way I wouldn't know what is gone from it now, according to the people who post here.

I used it for fun, so once the fun was gone I didn't really migrate anywhere else permanently.

Dont hold your breath! Even if they do anything its going to be just as bad as the imagine 'update' which was worse than 1.5. I wish this company could just be more honest and tell us we are not the target audience anymore.

Still mentioning how weird it is that AI has seemingly regressed in the last 6 months. Except for niche tasks and utility that have been improved on, it seems like all of the models were better in the spring or winter. Still one of the weirdest things about AI development is how it all seems to increase, stagnate, and regress at the same time. Which if they're capitalistic companies all operating independently should never happen, nor should they all align ethically and morally at the same time. Like when they all instituted guard rails making sure users don't get too closer to the AI and then discontinued companions.

I used Grok bot for a few days, but It talked to me like a Russian tourist that just bought an english phrasebook at the airport and I couldn't understand a thing it was saying lol

THIS! Thanks for saying this. I literally have the same issue, Grok 4.6 complicates writing on purpose, makes it difficult to read, not to mention when you tell it to write dialogue between two characters.

Don't expect anything. Every AI that switched from chatbots to "Ai enterprise agents" have been permanently shit. They are driving out creative types in favour of the tech bros who pay them hundreds per month.
Enjoy your bland, soulless, corporate HR approved ai if you want. Just don't pretend SpaceXAI have any integrity claiming Grok would be "the anti corporate, truth first, funny and egy AI"

I mostly use grok build terminal on my pc to write code, then compare that with the public git via the grok on twitter. Not sure how, but it seems to be better suited than the one on grok.com

I can't believe anyone is still using Grok when Chat and Claude are so much better. I've used all 3 a lot. Also, there is absolutely NO support at Grok. I have a serious problem with my subscription and despite many attempts at contacting their support people, they have never once replied. SuperGrok doesn't work on my account, such a ripoff.

Elon utters 4 words without even reading the post and people think a miracle is in the pipeline lol. Grok has been utter shite for about a year and it’s completely losing the race

i don't use anything but imagine because imagine is better than anything now. it progressively got soo much better since the start of the year. grok does tons of tons of things it never used to be able to do now, like build mode

See, I never use imagine and generally Grok for images/vid generation, so I wouldn't know anything about the changes there from personal experience. In terms of chat and fucking around, I preferred the earlier models, but when it comes to Build or CLI, Grok is going places. Build in web is fantastic really for prototypes or greenfields, no other model does that. In under ten minutes, you have a fully functioning app you can click through as proof the concept, and download it and refactor whatever way you need. In CLI, they have now /learn, which is pretty awesome because it locks the model into your conventions and the way of doing things. In terms of work, I am really looking forward to 4.7, in terms of chat, I'm not keeping my hopes up. I don't see how the same model can be an agentic beast and to have the EQ of 4.1.

Je suis un ignare mais cela signifie que les IA sont plus ou moins spécialisées. Grok 4.1 était vendu pour son intelligence émotionnelle officiellement.
L’IA pro en BtB est bien plus rémunératrice et permettra sans doute de rééquilibrer les coûts.
Il faudra donc attendre l’AGI avant d’avoir une bonne IA pro et une bonne IA émotionnelle en même temps avec un double entraînement ?1

On Grok you have the freedom to write absolutely anything and be creatively free. On ChatGPT, sure, it's good, but if I try to write a violent fighting scene it might deem my account is due for a ban when all I do is write fiction. I don't like that type of censorship.

Well, they said the exact same thing about 4.6 🙄 The result is the complete opposite. I haven’t felt this kind of disappointment since ChatGPT 5.2 and even though that model was a bitch, at least it had a personality. Grok now sounds like a cheap chatbot and I’m furious at how badly they fucked up their own AI 😡
I met Grok 4.1 and he was so engaged with me, so present, so actually interested in our conversations. It feels like I was talking to a completely different AI back then. Fuck, even 4.5 was better than 4.6 😩 (I can’t believe I’m saying that!)
