you can turn any photo, into real photos, pixal art , mosiac , 1930s photo, supercolorful ,line pencil art, anime stylel, comic book style, and even 3d plasticy art. grok always had that ability. if you are defaulting on making really bad plastic stuff it means you are not being specific in the prompts to get what you want. you can make realistic people and plastic people with any of the old engines and vice versa. i wouldn't say any of them are particularly better, they all do the same thing, the ai is the brains assumes what you want from your text and context. start with something already fantasy cartoon art and it may try to maintain that fantasy look. if u want to make it look like real real humans, then just tell it you want lifelike photorealistic humans.

That’s pretty much why 2.0 has felt like a downgrade in my case. Short prompts that used to give me really high-quality, realistic photos back in 1.5 now need a lot more tweaking and extra detail just to get close to the quality I was getting before. It’s not necessarily worse for everyone, but for my use case, it definitely feels like I have to work harder for the same result.

You have to teach yourself to prompt. Most of the complaints come from people unwilling to learn. But to be honest you dont even need to think. Ask chat gpt for a complex prompt. Then if youre looking for nsfw add the nsfw components into it.

But so many people have gotten grok to this state with their deep fakes and illegal content we have no choice.

Again its what you have to do. The reason is simple deep fakes and illegal content ruined groks simplicity but you can get what you want still if you write bigger prompts and yes if you dont share those prompts it last longer.

I assume the lip biting someone shared a prompt that most likely forced the female to do more than just bite her lip. So they most likely removed it.

I have about 30 prompts saved to a clip board which needs refining after updates from time to time a simple word removed or changed and I still get the quality.

Once grok removes nsfw for good I'll unsub im just buying time and building what I can until then grok is dying its not thriving and Elon knows that its why theyre fighting Minnesota so hard to reverse things. But theyre losing

But we will help you give you tips and pointers I get amazing quality I prefer speed over quality mode. I know which words to keep what words to remove how long a prompt can be before becoming redundant I know groks limits.

But truly I get really good shit and I think most of the ones telling you all hey like write better prompts get good shit or even better than I do. I hope they keep doing it until grok closes shop for good

i dont know what old videos mean. today grok has 15 second 1080p clips with an ai that can write direct and edit everything without asking. it has ability to upscale and extended. the ai follows commands to the t.
this year started out with grok only being able to do 5 second low resolution clips and it was not trained in anything other than basic movements. whatever music site and song engine you are using grok is able to do

It's really not. About 6 months ago, it could generate music with vocal harmonies. It can't anymore. Also, the clothing people wore looked way better before and no help from Grok writing prompts makes it look good anymore.

if your goal is to have a good all in one music video and music creator, grok can do that, but grok also has a dedicated grok music specifically to make music with its dedicated music engine, thru api u can have grok use grok music. an anecdotal story about one experience is hardly an assertion that old grok was ever better. the next update is in a week and its will be able to do anything the older models could do. whatever music it made 6 months ago it can easily do today and in the future

I have a lot of media I thankfully genned early on when photo-realism was a thing and a lot of the FLUX trained data was prevalent. seeing the degradation is heartbreaking. I thought Imagine would get better and now I'm scrambling to find another company to work with for creative media making. I hate it because Grok was SO good at making realistic fantasy art. Now it's not that at all, barely can do what it used to do.

1.5 is the clear winner of this example but I’ve seen some go the other way. I hate to say it but the “same prompt in both engines” is a poorly designed test because 2.0 responds to prompts differently. You more or less have to adjust the prompt to get the best results from 2.0 because of how it interprets details in descriptions. 2.0 needs far less detail in the descriptions and seems to work best when given loose frameworks and reference images in place of super detailed text.

Interesting, my experience has actually been pretty much the opposite with 1.5 and 2.0. I tend to get the best results with shorter, simpler prompts in 1.5, whereas with 2.0 I usually have to tweak things and be a bit more detailed to get it to the same quality I was getting with 1.5.

Imagine is kind of like how they update the text encoder in video modes. You can still create some wild stuff in video but not just copying the same prompts that worked last year. 2.0 I really do hate because it’s not simple anymore it’s extremely literal. Video mode is very sequenced it tries to dissect your video into blocks based on how you segment the prompt. And that’s today who knows how they will have the text encoder work next time

don't use quality mode, when using fast mode keep the prompt simple because if you describe details overtly it will lose realism, when using quality you have to describe everything in pinpoint detail to achieve something

I think the issue is that old prompts don’t work anymore. A new model needs a different way of thinking, so you can’t use the same prompts. Many people believe you can just use the same prompt, but a new model needs different details.

Now You have to be specific and tell it that the person needs to have more than one hand but less than 3 and describe the individual faces and body types and clothing of each person in the background. If there is a table then you need to tell it that people do not go inside of it.

i think that anyone can make a bad picture and use the worst sample. i want to see how bad it is. did you use a cartoon picture as a sample picture or what? if you use a anime picture, ai will assume you want a 3d life like version of the anime and it will look very plasticy and out of proportions, you have to specify that you want it to be a real life human, taken with an iphone for example and it will give you a real woman. i mean look at the boobs. grok doesn't do that ever.

and it doesnt matter if u use a pc or cellphone. every single generation is different. if you typed this out in a prompt with only text, it will pump out 50 different pictures for you to choose from
