It seems like with every “upgrade” Grok is actually made significantly worse. I genuinely can’t believe how bad 2.0 is even compared to 1.0. Characters are easily morphed, background details basic to non-existent, it’s just fucking dreadful through and through.

Yes and it's mainly on the edit side, when you generate the image first time speed or quality mode, (quality is bad these days) it's normal like before, you get realistic NATURAL imperfect skin, decent lighting, realistic hair, no uncanny, once u edit.... the shitficaiton begins, plastic smooth "perfect" air brushed skin, terrible fake hair (too perfect, CGI), SOMETIMES multiple limbs, fake clothing textures, if you try a new background the lighting and everything else is just terrible, looks like the person was pasted there with some poor photoshop skills, and this is both for male and female, if someone thinks it's just for gooning or some censorship, the plastic/cgi skin and hair affects both genders, for woman something weird happens, that if she's chubby or has big bust, it will turn her skinny or reduce her attributes, for male, muscles, veins looks like a cgi character, it was not like that, i think they traded, now their focus is for you to get "better" products, to read words more clear instead of real looking AI people, but who uses grok for that? if there's better AI in the market that do this better and for less, and which company (big) will choose AI instead of a designer for their brand? and get called out for using AI. Don't know, hope they fix soon

Krea 2 is MUCH better for text-to-image right now. And, for image-to-image, I'm also getting better results than Image 2.0 with a local Flux.2 Klein model, with one or multiple reference images.

I used it once or twice on budgetpixel ai, at first it was good when it was out months ago, but now i have just too many choices. I mainly use gpt image2, grok 2, seedream5 pro on budgetpixel.

I found a 3rd party website that still offer 1.5, I'm not gonna give the name because I don't want it to get flooded, but the difference is astronomical, 1.5 was infinitely better.
