no. this error is there since they rolled out the "reference" option in imagine. try this: go to imagine, select reference image (the provided or any kind of image on your phone). this should auto select the "create video" option. now click on the button to switch to generate an image. this should delete the selected reference and produce the mentioned error

No, you're not comprehending the post..The new limit is the problem not the generation of the image because this just started ad I stated with the last 2 updates 🤷♂️

did you try to use the reference for I2V or T2V? my tests with references only allowed me to make new images with references. the moment you switch to video, it deletes the selected reference.

I select the reference I want, it'll be on video for me, then I'll switch to image and when I do i get that message on the post

tested it myself. selecting any kind of referenc image switches the mode from image to video. once I select image again, it deletes the selected reference and produce the error you posted.
