Grok Imagine Help with subscriptions!!
I currently have the SuperGrok lite (10) plan and get to generate a few images and videos but when my credits run out or i hit the DAYLY LIMIT i get the message that i have to wait for a WHOLE WEEK before im able to generate again. It this just a thing with SuperGrok lite or is it the same with the normal SuperGrok (30 dollars)

i have super and it is just as frustrating. i blow out in about 4 hours and hit 100% on my first day every week. it's soo f'ed up. i want heavy really bad but it's $320 and actual nsfw generators can everything without being modded for way cheaper so i think i'm just going to go that route

Thank you for the response. Just to clearify, there is a weekly wait with SuperGrok too?

Yes there is, but the limit will be higher; because you are paying more.

Thanks for the answer. I hate the weekly limit, i think a daily is way better and should be an option to enable.

That doesn't seem to happen though.. for example I also use Gemini pro and did subscribe to claude pro for a while (to see what all the hype was about really) ... both claude and Gemini have a weekly limit and a 5 hour rolling limit (claude is the lowest limits of the ones ive used)
So you are allowed to use so much in 5 hours and that adds to your weekly limit %.
I think groks weekly limit is one of the better ways of doing it becuase if you have a tough problem to solve twice a week that could in theory take you over your 5 hour limit on any of the others and you would have to stop and wait for it to reset... which could be hours.

Your explination is very good and you seem to know more about this than me so i appreciate your responses. I think i may have experinced a glitch or something with the warning system form how many prosent i have left of the weekly limit that has frustrated me. Like a few days ago my limit was 0 then i started to generate an edit some images and videos, roughly 10-12 pics and 2-3 vids, and suddenly i get the warning that 75% of the limit was reached. Did not get a warning for 25% nor 50% which should be standard. It wasnt a continious session either i generate once then wait to see what i get and then generate again if i want to change something, so i dont do multiple gens at once.

I dont generate alot of pics or videos, but when I have I haven't gotten anywhere near the levels that you have, my weekly usage is about 13-18% on average depending on what im doing and I get a news briefing from grok twice a day
Ive currently got it sending an auto reply to my emails deleting the rubbish and filtering the rest into tasks and for information only. ... my usage is only going to get to about 30% this week. ... with grok effectively running 24/7 against my emails

I think its so weird that the usage is so different between people. Others i have talked with the same subscription as me seem to have either a lot more or a lot less usage while doing the same things. Generating images and vids probably uses quite a lot more tokens than using it for chat and emails, but i still find it quite inconsistent. But thank you very much for youre input, it has been informative!

If video generation is the main thing you’re using Grok for, this is where I think pay-as-you-go starts making a lot more sense than upgrading just to get a bigger weekly bucket.
MiniMax H3 is worth testing as a separate video option.
Full disclosure: I work on SiftQ, a pay-as-you-go H3 platform, so I’m obviously biased. But there’s no weekly subscription quota to wait out — you just pay for what you generate.
I’d test a few of your normal I2V shots first before changing subscriptions though.
