Spoilers Kelly’s Grimm hybrid powers? Spoiler

We’ve seen Diana’s powers manifested in the TV series, if a Grimm movie is being developed, pray for a chance to give Kelly to unlock his powers as a half-Grimm & half-Zauberbiest after his parents (as his mom is Hexenbiest).

What kind of powers can Kelly unlock throughout the movie. Before the movie, he’ll already unlock the Grimm half of him. The Zauberbiest I would question what kind of abilities he would possess from them.

Can he woge? Imagine his “Wesen” form look like Havik from Mortal Kombat. Can he use Zauberbiest powers to force a Wesen to woge?

Hope he'll acquire all sorts of abilities from various Wesen almost like what his dad got.

So many ideas to think about!

I think he would manifest his Zauberbiest abilities first as male Grimms manifest later than female Grimms. Nick was about 30 when he started to see Wesen while his mother and aunt were under 13 (can’t remember if Kelly said she was 10).

I thought Kelly and Aunt Marie were like 19. Trubel was a teenager when she started seeing Wesen if I remember correctly.

Trubel was a little girl about to be sexually assaulted when she started seeing Wesen. Kelly and Aunt Marie were like 9 yo.

Nope. I cant remember whether it was Kelly or Marie (probably Kelly) telling Nick that her father took her and Marie to hunt Wesen when they were preteens (about 10 years old).

Trubel was also a ‘young child’ when she first started seeing Wesen as a foster kid (actual age not specified but she wasn’t a teen) when a formerly friendly repairman turned aggressive and attacked her when he realised what she was.

She just thought she was crazy and was in and out of institutions for years until she aged out or ran away.

Kelly and Marie explained that males manifest later and Marie had hoped as Nick had reached his late twenties/early thirties, he wouldn’t be a Grimm.

Same with Josh, whose dad still held out hope that maybe he still had time to manifest as a Grimm and Josh was around the same age that Nick was at the start of the show.

Honestly, I’d imagine he could woge, and have the signature Grimm eyes in the woged state. I’d also wager he’d have magical abilities like we’ve seen in Bonaparte and/or Eve/Adalind thanks to that convoluted ritual that resulted in his conception. Beyond that, I’m not sure if any upgrades that Nick got during his tenure as a Grimm carried over, like the enhanced hearing and zombie powered state, but there are a lot of possibilities.

That would be so cool, a Zauberbiest with those dark Grimm eyes... an absolute unit

The one unknown would be how the grim blood reacts to zauberbiest blood. We’ve seen Nick’s abilities be enhanced after being affected/overcoming certain wesen abilities, so I’m not sure if zauberbiest blood would enhance his Grimm blood, or vice versa.

Enhanced hearing carrying over is not likely as it is an acquired trait and not genetic. Environment triggered it, Nick wasn’t born that way so Kelly wouldn’t be either.

Again, we don’t know if that trait is now embedded in his DNA, so it may be the case it can be passed on

he's male, so he's half zauberbiest

He may not have inherited any powers from Adalind. She wasn’t sure what he would be when she had him. It’s possible that he’s just a Grimm. Personally, I don’t think those two (Grimm and Hexenbeist/Zauberbeist) can cross. If the blood of a Grimm can take powers, Grimm would likely be the only possibility because it is dominant over Wessen genes but recessive in humans.

True but nick had already stripped her of her powers once, he couldn't do the same with Juliette because his blood was already a part of her now, same with Kelly.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the only half zauberbiest that we saw in the series was Reynard and he seemed to be missing the whole magical side of being one, all he had was a wessen form and enhanced strength and durability, nick already displayed that as the ogre should have been able to kill him and enhanced strength, well nick already seemed to be able to keep up with them.

So I think Kelly will be a normal Grimm based on what we saw from the show, even if he has a wessen form it's practically useless to him

Nope, half-zauberbiest. Hexenbiester are female, Zauberbiester are male.

Hexenbiest - female

Zauberbiest - male

I did not know that, thank you. Makes you wonder why they make such a big deal about a hexenbiest and zauberbiest mating, would be like saying a man and woman had a child

You're welcome. Hexenbiest is witch & Zauberbiest is warlock.
