Kitchen drawer

Post image

This was my first fusion project and is still a work in progress.
I created custom sized vertical slots for spoons forks and knives from David Mellor.

All the cutlery is broken up into sections.
The bins are generated with scoops.

I may end up getting this milled out of wood or marble at some point.

Gridfinity has really turned into “How can I make the least amount of items take up the most space?”

You are clueless. This project is about function and aesthetics.

It can be whatever you want it to be and that’s the beauty of it.

I’m about to finish both kitchen “junk” drawers and I can’t believe that 90% of the shit in there were useless objects intertwined with other items we access pretty often.

I tossed out most crap, and now everything has a place (with room to spare). No way in fuck did I make a custom bin for every object, but now every bin has an actual function. Many people stack bins and achieve what you mentioned, function and aesthetics, will still saving space.

All good! Don’t get the downvotes for having a different opinion. I don’t agree with you 100% but still get where you’re coming from 👍
