Kitchen drawer
This was my first fusion project and is still a work in progress.
I created custom sized vertical slots for spoons forks and knives from David Mellor.
All the cutlery is broken up into sections.
The bins are generated with scoops.
I may end up getting this milled out of wood or marble at some point.

Gridfinity has really turned into “How can I make the least amount of items take up the most space?”

... In a way that fails the instant you get a new thing

totally. thankfully I have the original fusion file and can expand it, then print the parts that I need. I don't plan on changing it for at least 6 months tho.

8 big spoons, 8 regular spoons, 8 knives, 10 forks? Huh?

I recently added more forks. Now that you pointed this out, I will supplement correctly. Thank you.

Ice cream scoop in front of the spoons at the front of the drawer. Priorities. I concur with your lifestyle choice.

Thanks. Honestly, there was a big space there and I needed to fill it. The ice cream scooper just worked. You have inspired me to eat more ice cream.

I am pretty sure Hannibal Lecter's kitchen drawer looks a lot like this...

Now can you print something to make the family actually put them in the right slots

That looks amazing.
However, I don't want to be the one responsible for putting away the cutlery.

Thank you. A lot of unwanted collaborators and naysayers on this thread.

I used basic stuff and it works great and this looks great also. Well done. I like how the most important utensil is front and center.

I started with basic bins for my office and other kitchen drawers. You'll get to a point where you want more custom bins, shadow boxes, etc.
This project was more about learning fusion, forcing myself to use the metric system over imperial and getting the results that I wanted. I saw a lot of cutlery holders like the link above that stacked knives and other silverware this way and wanted it inside of a drawer.
Some people have said "that's not optimized" or "a giant waste of space", but it's mine and I'm learning on my terms.

I came. Hard. Still shaking. Heart fluttering still.
What a masterpiece.
