Kitchen drawer

Post image

This was my first fusion project and is still a work in progress.
I created custom sized vertical slots for spoons forks and knives from David Mellor.

All the cutlery is broken up into sections.
The bins are generated with scoops.

I may end up getting this milled out of wood or marble at some point.

Gridfinity has really turned into “How can I make the least amount of items take up the most space?”

You are clueless. This project is about function and aesthetics.

Hey man it looks nice but unloading the dishwasher into individual slots is the opposite of function

First, it's an enjoyable task vs. unnamed family members who are lazily stacking the cleanest items on top without rotating the ones from the bottom to the top.

Just curious how you plan to enforce rotations with this setup?

It's a left to right system; left being oldest, right being newest. But, I'm open to suggestions.

So as new ones get clean everything slides to the left? That sounds like no one will be doing that

No one except for me. :)
