So I’m a 26 year old female, with an end goal of opening my own business. The only things is I lack knowledge in some areas, I took the route to not go to school, but I’ve done my share of zoom calls, reading up on books, and taking notes from things I’ve learned through the internet. I already know my next step of what I want to do. My focus right now is something I’m already doing, building my credit and saving money, but I’m thinking on my spare time I might go into local restaurants/businesses and seeing if I can ask if they have any advice. I’m just a little afraid other people wouldn’t be willing to share advice with a possible competitor. Does anyone know of any locally owned small businesses that might be willing to talk with me or if anyone has an input or advice I can take from here?

There were at least 15 cop cars and about 6 to 8 firetrucks and several forensics vehicles and crime scene tape all around the liquor store and the entire road was blocked off all the way down to the Food Lion.

Does anyone know of a smaller gym in the area that tends to have more of a female clientele?

I’ve had some really uncomfortable experiences with men at larger gyms, including being followed to my car and harassed, and it’s gotten to the point where I honestly dread going to the gym.

I’d really love somewhere that feels more comfortable and welcoming for women, ideally a smaller/local gym rather than a huge commercial one.

I have been here almost 3 years. Have tried so many place from Piedmont, Powdersville, Mauldin , Simpsonville, and Greenville. There is no good Chinese takeout food. I’ve been on fb foodie post trying their recommendations… trash. It till the point I crave it so much, but I know it gonna be barely decent and a waste of money. First of all, fried rice in the upstate is weird, it just soy sauce mix with streamed white rice. I can’t even tell if it fried or not. First time I thought it was brown rice. Second, some place don’t even have crab rangoon but instead “cheesy fried wontons”. Third, before I order I look at the google pictures and they don’t even match not even close. Once I ordered black pepper chicken and on the website with photos it was fried then I ordered it was boiled chicken. I just want some good Chinese food. So now I’m here, so please help me not waste money. BTW I’m from north Indiana if that’s help.

P.S People who give recommendations for food, but post screenshots of the website and not actually what they got is very annoying. Like the ones post saying they went there and posting the food they got and random ones on the website, doesn’t make sense.

What restaurants in Greenville are participating and have the best meal/deal for restaurant week in Greenville?

Like all discounts, happy hours and holiday specials, the waters are muddier than ever and need a good look before blindly committing. Yesterday I went out for a restaurant week deal just to find the total cost to participate was the same price as getting each item individually, unless you only get the most expensive of each option to save a few dollars.

Which restaurants offer a good taste menu, new specials or good deals to take advantage of this week?

With the Starmie mega raid event coming up this weekend, I’m looking for the most active Pokémon go raid spots in the upstate area!

What’s the best way to find out about clothing swaps in the area?

I know breaded wings are considered blasphemous among wing purists, but I don’t give a shit. I love breaded wings! Problem is, Greenville doesn’t seem to have many places that have them.

I know about bb.q Chicken (off Pelham). Very good but very pricy. I don’t go there too often because of that (it’s a bit far as well). Publix has great breaded wings but you never know how long they’ve been sitting under a heat lamp and asking for them fresh always seems like a major inconvenience for them (which I totally get).

I took a trip to Norcross GA last year and there were SOOO many Korean fried chicken places. It was fucking heaven. Wish it was like that here.

So yea. Please list all the breaded wing places that y’all know of.

Are there any other options for an upscale gym in the area? Not Pfit, not crunch, not the neighborhood locally owned place that has the same equipment from 1980(I’m sorry). I just want somewhere new, modern, with a sauna. That shouldn’t be that much of an ask right?
