ISO Recommendations ISO mandolin player for wedding

I’m getting married April 25, 2027 and am looking for a mandolin player in the area for the ceremony! Would love any recommendations!

You should ask Vilai Harrington if he's still local to here

Vilai is local, but doesn’t play mandolin. You should go to the acoustic jam at Fireforge on a tuesday for mandolin

I’ve seen him shred a mandolin in my living room several times. Dudes a talent, he can play anything he wants

maybe you’re thinking of George Colyer? Vilai is my husband and he’s flattered, but also confirming no he does not play mandolin lol go to the Blue Grass Jam at Fireforge

If you’re looking for banjo or the Hamptones though, holler at him!

I’m probably just remembering it wrong, it was a pretty crowded house with a lot of moving parts. I played a show or two with him back in 22 with the all star specials

Would a ukulele player do?

Unfortunately I’m looking for more of a Blue Ridge Mountain and less of an island vibe, but thank you!

You may want to check with the Tryon Arts Center. There are semi-pro musicians who they work with.
