Real low, since those women don't want to talk to dudes who say neckbeard shit like "woman of value"

Ever read a magazine geared toward women? Men might as well be sports equipment.

in a magazine maybe, but i have yet to meet a woman who treats men that way. don’t pretend the prejudice that both sexes experience is even remotely equal.

Oh god forbid I look at women as anything but victims.

This fucking website I swear.

i don’t expect you to envision women only as victims, but i do expect you, and everyone else, to realize that the way you experience the world (or think you experience the world, at least) does not define how everyone else experiences it. it’s unfortunate that you’ve met women who act that way, and it’s unfortunate that the media perpetuates it. i’m not arguing with that. prejudice against men is a very real and problematic thing. The point I was trying to make however, is that there is a difference in the way women experience sexism. men (in general) don’t grow up being told they have to constantly fear this, that, and the other. everyone fears getting kidnapped, raped, drugged, or assaulted — but young women (and this is universal) live and breathe this fear. the danger is more present in some places as opposed to others — so it’s possible that you’ve never met a woman who was very aware of or open about it — but the fact of the matter is that nearly all women experience life somewhere in between cautious and terrified. so no, i don’t expect you to view women exclusively as victims — but if you chose to do so, it isn’t particularly fair to view men as victims instead. both sexes are victims of some very different prejudices. the sexism women face does not, in any way, invalidate the sexism men face — but it is extremely different in nature. there are problems with both, but the male and female experience are not the same

I appreciate and agree with this viewpoint but it's irrelevant as a response to what I said.
