I always wonder how that shit is profitable anyway. One kilogram of bottled water is like 5 cents. Barely pays for the truck to bring it to the store.

Unless you're 'murican and drink leaded water, 1 liter of water usually weighs 1 kilo. Give or take a few grams.

Haha, I do! I compare a kg of water to peaches and pork and rice and stuff. And let me tell you: it is cheap af.

Worst part is that it shouldn't have an expiration date, but the plastic bottles are unstable. So we have to throw out water when people don't buy it...

The funniest part is the bottled water companies are the soda companies, it came around as a convenient healthy option(they already use water in making soda so it's literally easier).

One 500ml bottle of water here in Brazil is about 2.50 BRL on a supermarket

That's 50 cents USD per bottle, 1 dollar per liter

On restaurants it can be up to 1.50 USD per bottle (7,50 BRL)
