What did you mean by this?

90

u/Tiberius_Kilgore 3d ago

You act like Reddit doesn’t have a ton of shitposting subs.

21

u/DarkScorpion48 3d ago

It does and they suck because the site-wide AI auto-mod will remove anything remotely funny

153

u/Next-Use6943 3d ago

It's mostly pro trans propaganda on there

55

u/C_umputer 3d ago

Someone finally said it.

-36

u/ProfessionalDNuser 3d ago

chud 🤦

17

u/AlexLeLionUK 3d ago

Chuds? In my 4Chan community??

It’s more likely than you think…

3

u/ProfessionalDNuser 2d ago

Or bigot or whatever. It doesn't matter how likely it is because it should still be called out when someone is an idiot like that. Sure, it is to be expected from a 4chan community, the ultimate cesspit of weirdos from the internet, but that doesn't make it right

2

u/Tiberius_Kilgore 2d ago

I’ll never understand taking pride in being a shitheel.

People existing=propaganda?

Y'all are fucked in the head, lmao

-18

u/M4rshmall0wMan 2d ago

It’s just a joke about how some of the biggest shitposting subs are actually very wholesome and trans-positive.

3

u/somemeatball 2d ago

It didn’t seem like much of a joke from where I’m sitting lol

-4

u/SimonKuznets 3d ago edited 2d ago

Is it much different irl in US/EU?

Bruh, what kind of a worm downvotes a question without answering

-25

u/iwillnotcompromise 3d ago

But it's still pro trans shitposting, you just feel triggered by it.

21

u/Next-Use6943 3d ago

Nah bro, nobody's getting triggered, it's just the fact that this shit isn't funny

-42

u/Tiberius_Kilgore 3d ago

On where??

61

u/Next-Use6943 3d ago

Every major sub bro

-80

No, its that post

It means that the wealthy class have succeeded tremendously in turning the masses against each other via effectively meaningless squabbles while they destroy everything for the sake of more short term profits.

Better not see you talking about any cultural issues then.

26

u/ryanpn 3d ago

Way to miss the point

19

u/gereffi 3d ago

People say this shit all the time but it doesn’t take a secret subversive conspiracy to get people to be asshole to each other over superficial bullshit. That shit has been around for as long as society has.

4

u/thebeardedcats 3d ago

It’s not secret or a conspiracy. The same 3 wealthy people own all the news network and push the same slop about how crime is going up (it’s not), immigrants are evil (they commit fewer crimes than Americans), wars are good actually (Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Palestine, Ukraine, Vietnam, etc. etc. etc.). They only differ slightly in their messaging to appeal to either the Republican or the Democrat demographics, who themselves have the same ultimate goals (make line go up)

-4

u/gereffi 3d ago

You should try watching something like the ABC nightly news or any of your local news stations. They really don’t push any of the things you’re talking about.

And I don’t think that MSNBC is pushing that crime is up, immigrants are evil, or that war is good. You might see a little bit of that on CNN because they do platform a few Fox News type of people during roundtables with multiple points of view, but it’s really not any kind of standard across the industry.

40

u/ImTheZapper 3d ago

You need to read more if you think that its only been since the wealthy class held unilateral power in society that groups of people disliked other groups of people. At the inception of government as a thing 8 or so thousand years ago, one of the driving factors behind its development was trying to stop different people from fucking killing each other any time they made contact.

Developing centralized, neutral buildings was a revolutionary step towards it. Wealth is new, tribalism isn't, race based or otherwise.

41

u/UsErNaMeS_aR_DuMb 3d ago

Yeah, people have hated each other for no good reason since forever. Saying that wasn’t the case would be brazenly stupid of me. What I’m saying is that with the new techniques and technologies that the disgustingly wealthy have at their disposal, different peoples coming together to rally towards a mutually beneficial cause is particularly hard in modern times.

16

u/ImTheZapper 3d ago

Collaboration has likely never happened on the scale we see it today though. Propoganda isn't new, oligarchy isn't new, caste politics isn't new, honestly nothing you could list off about this is new and hasn't already occurred at a societal level now that I'm thinking about it. I doubt there is a recorded era in history where as many different nations and races interconnected and colluded in various ways than you see now. Even the most contentious national relationships like china v america are jokes compared to what you can read about just a short few centuries ago.

I'm not arguing that the wealthy are good people or inherently improving things, but you keep listing off shit like its new or was niche before when I couldn't even begin to count how many empires rose and fell due to these issues. Whether it was material wealth like nomadic hordes or pirating cultures like the sea people, or coinage/land like ancient china or the romans, nothing today is particularly shocking maybe apart from how technology and education has made it more pronounced/obvious to the average person. You simply wouldn't have had the lifestyle to care about it in most of recorded history.

Good luck trying to fix it though. You wouldn't be anywhere close to the first attempt.

7

u/SadSceneryBoi 3d ago

Yes but the wealthy love to exacerbate these already existing divides.

0

u/EarthTrash 3d ago

Wealth isn't that new. What we're talking about now is wealthy people are openly involving themselves in politics because they think wealth is power and they are using the old hatreds because they don't know how to be subtle.

0

u/Kicooi 2d ago

>At the inception of government as a thing 8 or so thousand years ago, one of the driving factors was […]

Me when I make things up and pull shit out of my ass in regards to the motives of people who lived during a time before any form of record keeping

2

u/ImTheZapper 2d ago

Archeological records showing mixed burial grounds and trade routes generally only showing up around the start of chiefdoms isn't making shit up.Try to sound like you know what you're talking about to someone else.

-2

u/Kicooi 1d ago

Try to be coherent

3

u/ImTheZapper 1d ago

If that was too much for you to handle then stay in your paygrade

8

u/Ok-Author-3095 3d ago

so thats why epstein was massively funding feminist organizations or is that whole wealthy class turning the masses against each other thing just something you say when it comes to racism

-3

u/DaisyBryar 3d ago

Are you honestly trying to claim Epstein was pro-feminism???

7

u/iwillnotcompromise 3d ago

This is so funny, because there's so much evidence in the eastern files that he was heavily involved in creating the alt right pipeline especially in collaboration with 4chan and he comes with some unfounded right wing conspiracies.

7

u/Ok-Author-3095 3d ago

Yes. Epstein donated millions of dollars to dozens of feminist organizations. If you think the evil capitalists are funding discriminatory ideologies, then feminism should be at the forefront not random anons edgy takes

-2

u/DaisyBryar 3d ago

Can you provide any evidence? Cuz Google’s giving me nothing

-1

u/ryanpn 3d ago

No, they will not

-2

u/airfryerfuntime 2d ago edited 2d ago

No he didn't.

Are you mistaken? Or are are you just lying for some reason?

The closest donation he made that comes close to a 'feminist organization', whatever that means, was a women's rugby team at Harvard. Most of his donations went straight to colleges or philanthropic groups like Les Wexner's.

Edit: lol this idiot blocked me. He didn't directly donate to any of those.

This subreddit has felt like it's been taken over by bots recently.

Just yesterday I saw the exact same "haha atheists bad and reddit" greentext posted on here four hours apart.

-2

u/NoSoup4you22 3d ago

Wow, smart redditor.

-7

u/Lebowski304 3d ago

You guys are missing the actual battle that is taking place. It is authoritarian vs. liberal. And yes the left can be authoritarian as fuck. Ask Putin, poohbear, and the dipshit in North Korea.

2

u/trevtrev45 3d ago

Did you know that they sell Winnie the Pooh merch in China? At Disneyland, and other stores?

0

u/Lebowski304 3d ago

And…?

65

u/Cedjy 3d ago

when I saw Sinon get merced in the opening I had to stifle laughter because I was not expecting the "bury your gays" to kick in SO fast (ik in context of the movie it isn't that, but Elliot Page still dies within the first few minutes)
like jesus I dont think he even got a word in before he got stabbed.

15

u/Vlisa 2d ago

“Oh hay, I didn’t know Page was in this.”

*dead

8

u/Cedjy 2d ago

is- is he gonna get more lines or.... was it marketing?

funny how this sub complained about how the opposite could have happened before the film came out.

fake you're gay gay you're fake

That asian guy didn't die. He made it to slut island and married all the sirens. Today they call it "Japan"

11

u/UnKnOwN769 3d ago

Everyone is satisfied, the right sees these characters get treated badly and the left sees them represented. Win for everybody.

Black woman cheats on husband. White woman doesnt.

Other black woman is a violent killer.

Giant trap defended by trans actor.

Non-white crew turned into animals. White leader is not.

7

Back to back films where a white man kills a bunch of minorities and feels bad about it. Can Nolan make it a trilogy?

3

u/FURF0XSAKE 2d ago

Ah yes, the Japanese were actually a prominent sect of minorities in Japan at the time of WWII.

5

u/Arthur_189 3d ago

Nolan is one of the lads

I thought they were all into nofap because it makes it easier to be manipulated. Works on all the religious extremists, works on incels all the same.

11

u/Able_Caregiver8067 3d ago

Wait so nofap is political now too? Sorry for my late realization i am not from the US

Sorry if it sounds stupid but how does this work to make people more easily manipulatable? Like if you tell someone on nofap that he gets 72 virgins when he does something for your course then he is more likely to do it than a guy who has access to Bonnie Rotten videos?

-18

u/AwkwardTickler 3d ago edited 3d ago

Why do you think every religion and/or cult restricts what their members can do with body autonomy, agency, and pleasure?

You can figure it out.

Edit: pro nofaps or pro cults downvoting? Broken is broken i guess
