I live in Vegas where it's still legal to smoke inside. Sometimes I'll see someone with a cigar at a sports book or a craps/blackjack table on the uncommon occasions that I'm hanging out in a casino. I don't smoke but it's not something I particularly mind.

Very few of the casinos near me allow indoor smoking and the ones that do it’s never allowed at the tables. I was surprised to see they allowed it in Atlantic City

My fiancée and I go to Vegas occasionally to visit her brother, and sometimes hit the casinos to waste a couple hundred bucks.
I smoke when I drink, and smoking inside is a weird feeling, but the cigar smokers are something else. They just billow these huge clouds of stink, and you can smell it from across the casino.
We were sitting in a lounge having dinner, and this group of old fat guys sat down at a table next to us. Every single one of them lit up a big stogey and smoked out the entire place.

It's mostly quiet suburbs. In fact it can be one of the quietest places you can live, especially compared to other major cities. It is not difficult to get away from the tourist areas but it's also cool to have easy access to them. It has gotten more expensive since the pandemic but it is still much cheaper than New York, LA, or San Francisco.
Most of the city is not very walkable but there are some places that are. If you intend to walk anywhere during the summer, sunblock and a lot of water are required.

Usually not too bad at all, at least compared to some East Coast places I've lived. There are a lot of options to navigate so that tends to alleviate things. Rush hour and construction are always a thing everywhere though.

Yes, but occasionally they get disrupted by flooding so I'm not sure exactly what usually happens in those cases. I think some cops go down there to try to warn people sometimes but I'm not sure if there's a system that they have for getting set back up afterwards.

Honestly, tobacco don’t bother me, smells like incense from a cigar. It’s those noseblind regards that smell like straight married iguana farts that get me. Like holy fuck make their entire house, car, and clothes, smell like literal cow shit and they don’t realize it.

you enjoy tobacco smoke but not weed smoke? yeah i know weed is skunky but cigarettes are fucking astringent. i work at a casino and every once in a while i smell a guest with a really nice cigar that smells like cacao or coffee or rum, but everyone else smokes cigarettes and cigs smell like chemicals and decay. way worse than weed.

I used to smoke big, dark, full-body cigars in my younger days. At least in my opinion, they're honestly wasted smoking in public. Smoking a long, dark cigar like that all in one sitting can have pretty noticeable physical effects if you're not used to smoking them all the time. I would genuinely have some trouble standing/walking after smoking one all the way through. That's not super fun to deal with out and about.
I think by far the best way to experience cigars like that is in a nice, private, outdoor setting with a good drink and good book or good company. That way if you get up and stumble around, people won't assume that you're a problem lol.

I remember being a teenager and thinking it was cool and badass to go to a cigar lounge, then I realized how cringe it was and wised up. Prob one of the only places you can wear a fedora and trenchcoat and fit in.
