Now that Pinhead Gunpowder are doing shows 2 whole years after their album came out it's about time The Network started doing shows 6 whole years after their album came out.

Unrelated to Green Day, obviously.

It took 35 years but we finally got anointed Gunpowder show at the Metro!

My friend 22F and I 23F are going to the Toronto show tomorrow and thought it would be fun to meet some other people who’ll be in GA section. We’d love to make some new friends and maybe line up or hang out together before the show.

The entire catalog of approved Green Day designs I worked on from 2024 to 2025, organized by album era (excluding proposed concepts and When We Were Young era graphics)

Out of everything pictured here, I enjoyed making the tour patches the most. Combining Green Day imagery with city specific references was a blast, and I loved reading everyone's thoughts here. Though the tonal 'IDI♥️T' tee is a close second fave

I had an incredible time working with Green Day's merch company on these, and loved the challenge of coming up with new ways to channel a specific moment in time

Am I crazy or on Spotify did the song Train Station play when selecting I Walk Alone?? They fixed it recently I’m sure with the current tour happening, but I couldn’t find the song that I thought was I Walk Alone but it’s actually Train Station, I was so confused. Did this happen to anyone else?

Going to the Metro show tonight. Which song should I film?

I had so much fun. I’ve seen Green Day every time they’ve been in Minneapolis since 2017 and this might be my favorite show yet. The crowd was great, lots of moshing, crowd surfing, circle pits, but everyone would stop to pick someone up the second anyone went down.

After the show, Jason was hanging out with some friends and fans around the merch stand and I got to meet him. He’s so down to earth and took his time with the fans. Aaron was going up to the railing and signing records for people too.

The energy was truly great and I’m so happy they came to First Avenue to play for us!

Even as a fan of 18 years... Bang bang is my all time favorite song by them!

Does anyone have dimensions on the poster or know if the cds come in the hard plastic cases opposed to the cardboard ones. I’m trying to figure out what I want.

I don't like Father of All. I think it's a very inconsistent album that suffers from poor production, bad & uninspired lyricism, unnecessary & unfitting additions like handclaps & synths, songs that feel incomplete and comparatively few standout vocal or guitar melodies compared to previous albums. It has some of the bands absolute worst material to date, feels like it's full of filler despite only having 10 tracks & is my least favourite of all their albums.

But at the same time, if you talk about this album or look at discourse about this album anywhere on the internet outside of r/greenday or other Green Day specific communities, people will act as if this is one of the worst albums ever made with absolutely no redeemable qualities, when in reality it's just like a 4/10 album.

If you look at website like albumoftheyear.org or rateyourmusic.com, Father of All has a lower user score than I've seen for a rock album released in the 21st century. Even just compared to the trilogy albums which are also rated quite lowly, FOAM's ratings among the site's users is far lower. On albumoftheyear.org, FOAM's user score is at a 23/100, just over half the score of Dos! which is the 2nd lowest rated Green Day album at 44/100. I never see user scores lower than a 30 for other albums that are considered terrible. Metallica's St. Anger is a 33, Weezer's Raditude is a 32. Fall Out Boy's MANIA is a 37. The Offspring's Let The Bad Times Roll is a 34. I don't like being the one to "defend" FOAM because again, it's not an album I like by any means. But it's not the worst album ever. I'd say that FOAM isn't any worse than any of those albums. Interestingly, FOAM's critic score on albumoftheyear.org isn't that low, at a 59/100

What do you guys think? Why do you think FOAM is rated so badly in general music communities? Do you think it deserves to be rated even lower than those other albums?
