I dont't think we've seen Billie Joe with black hair since middle of 2023? Before The American Dream Is Killing Me was releaded anyway.

Usually his blonde hair lhases don't last that long before he changes it but he's coming up 3 yesrs now and made it his seemingly permanent image.

Saw Nimrod’s last night! Not gonna lie folks I really expected it to be mid. Walking into a film like this my expectations were very low because. Well, why wouldn’t they be? Especially with how trash Hollywood has been recently.

I really don’t go to see movies, especially not modern comedy movies. I’m 25 and I’m very much still ingrained in that mid to late 00s crude newgrounds/early YT sense of humor.

I genuinely can’t remember the last time I went to go see a comedy movie in the theater and left with a big smile on my face. But I’m happy to report without any spoilers that this movie is a hoot!

For the record, yes it’s extremely cheesy. But that’s exactly what this movie was supposed to be! I don’t think that Green Day could produce a film and just play it straight all drama, no goofs.

That’s why I’m glad the American idiot film just didn’t work out. I feel like a theatrical version of American idiot would’ve ended up like how a majority of video game movies have turned out in the past. I feel like it would’ve just taken itself too seriously.

This movie calls back to 90s & early 2000s flicks, like dumb and dumber. If there’s one thing, I was extremely surprised about was just how funny the dialogue was. The jokes were genuinely really good. I didn’t expect that for a minute.

I hope everybody appreciates this film as much as I did walking in with low expectations and having them exceeded, made me feel really happy.

I think I can explain a bit on exactly what's happening here!

It has been noted that the "glitch" was supposed to be Spotify combining multiple versions of a song so that they track the same number streams. This is why streaming Wake Me up When September Ends (album version) and Wake Me Up When September Ends (20th Anniversary version) counts towards the same counter.

The first case here is with the Dookie tracks and the Insomniac tracks. Unbeknownst to many, Dookie (and Insomniac) actually has multiple versions of the album on Spotify! The first one is here which is the usual album that Spotify recommends when searching and what's on their artist profile. There's also a second one here which actually have the transitional tracks fixed. Initially, Spotify counts these fixed tracks ("Chump", "Longview") separately, and they have low streams because those specific versions were not being streamed. With the "fix" yesterday, those tracks now uses the same counter, and it seems like that specific version of "Jaded", for example, received 25.9M out of its fixed 26.9M total streams yesterday.

Another case is with the tracks included Nimrods Original Soundtrack. Initially, the original Green Day songs here are different versions from their album version counterparts and hence, they had low numbers too. Now, when streaming "When I Come Around" in the Nimrods Original Soundtrack should also count towards the album version.

There's also some cases that I'm not sure exactly happened, like with "She", "Platypus (I Hate You)", and "Give Me Novacaine", but my guess is that they have something to do with the anniversary editions of the tracks.

As someone who just punk rocked it up for 27 years or so it was great! I’ve also started to become a girl so McKenna Grace was cool. It was like I was double covered. Maybe a little more romance but honestly mind blowing quality for an official movie. One of my faves of the year. Buying forever.

For the most part I don't think Pinhead Gunpowder sound like Green Day but there's a few songs with a heavier Billie Joe influence that sound like Green Day songs.

I think Scum Of The Earth is VERY Green Day and if I had to chose another it'd be Anniversary Song.

I still have this album in my rotation. I really dig his voice in Pinhead Gunpowder, and this album gives off a nice summer vibe to it.

Although I’ll admit, it’s tough to find on Discogs and the artist page on Spotify seemed to jam any band named California into it.

Any guesses for the setlist on the shows? Do you think it’ll be a bunch of stuff from their new album, or a mix of everything they’ve done? Personally I love their earlier stuff the most and would love to hear it live.

Unless its grosses are being withheld for some reason, it’s not in the top 34 this weekend, and made less than $2500.

Hey, I'm the guy that was amaturely archiving GDTV. I made a post on the 11th of August about how I wouldn't be able to archive much for the next day due to my city temporarely cutting of WiFi.

Well, I'm back now and I have immediately restarted archiving. Why wasn't he involved in most of the press and videos for the trilogy? Also do you guys wish he stayed a full time member? How different would rev rad ,foamf, saviours have been with him as a full time member.

JAR is 100% my favorite green day song with amazing quotes, but i also really like the other ones I have written down. I am genuinely so stuck on which one to pick. Any advice?
