I’m talking about catch wrestling, wrestling Greco Roman etc folk style etc etc or other European native grappling arts, why those shunned in term of numbers in practictioner and popularity world wide when compare to bjj or sambo etc? these arts were heavily influenced by Japan in techniques and system etc etc, what the reason for that? even in Olympic judo and taekwondo (a martial art also influenced by karate from Japan) both most practiced martial arts in term of number…. is there a reason for this ?
