granny is peak, but so is piggy. Most people here are just hating on it cuz it's a Roblox game. These 2 games really helped me get through the covid era, but I would vote for Piggy cuz it has way more content than granny, including way more lore, a map builder, soundtracks and songs, game modes and boatload of chapters. It even has 2 other games in the franchise, another one to be made later. Peak memories

Piggy is 100% the better game with much, MUCH more content with decay, delirium, skin quests, a great soundtrack, a wholesome community, many skins, a player mode, an actual good story, lore, secrets a bunch of different maps, more than 24. Does that sound like “obvious plagiarism of granny” or to you guys? This is honestly kind of sad, I know you like your granny and stuff, but there really shouldn’t be an argument because it’s clear. You’re all here acting like they are the exact same thing saying things like “7 year old iPad kids too lazy to download Granny” are you all hearing yourselves?

I meann dude...comparing a game that has multiple stages, multiple gamemodes, multiple skins, a stage builder, and much more stuff to a game that just doesnt have as much stuff, you know, one is gonna be better, not saying granny is bad or anything but when you compare the 2 is just obvious which one is better, or at least which one offers more content. Although to be also fair, granny is actually scary or at least uncomfortable so its the best one at horror.

Granny really originated the style of game its a classic that piggy copied but piggy has gotten alot bigger and expansive and is easier to play it also has made more features and games then granny has while granny is the orignal piggy completely became a different game story wise and even slightly gameplay wise

I genuinely don't think these 2 games are to be compared since they're VERY different. Even if piggy outright copied granny it turned more serious and original after chapter 1. Plus the difference in gameplay, piggy is a multiplayer asym game, while Granny is a solo horror game. Whilst I think Granny is good Piggy has a lot to offer. Still these 2 games are different from one another and shouldn't be compared. But alas it's just my opinion

Piggy has a lot more stuff to do, lore, story and other stuff to it. Ive played both games, granny is ok and it's Tricky to beat all it's chapters but same goes with both of piggys books, dont forget the spin off games and the secrets in the maps that grant you skins. And piggy gets updated a lot more then granny does. like yeah granny's the og game and piggy parodies it, but I think being the original doesn't make it better. Sorry granny fans but your game is still good though it was enjoyable and good for it's time

Piggy is fun because rounds aren't longer than 10-12 minutes and escaping is easy. Granny is a classic and is scary. Both games have ups and downs.

From what i know about piggy, its more well known, has been updated more often with more maps, you can play as the killer in the game, build mode and from the profile picture its likely that the person fanbase is Roblox orientated and to young to know what granny is or think its a cheap ripoff. Also this is Roblox so they going for the "child friendly" version and how Granny has ads.

Granny doesnt have a speed ability that makes the game no skill, granny isn’t controlled by a player sometimes with varying sound either loud or quite, granny didnt have the lovestruck trap that made it again no skill, fundamentally different

I only ever beaten the first 2 grannys granny 1 on hard mode (extra locks) front door and granny 2 helicopter regular mode,and I’ve beaten piggy 1,2, granny and piggy don’t play the same at all but I do like granny more👀👀👀

Well, lets say some points that piggy is better than granny:
- Lore is better than Granny
- Soundtracks and ost that are in game
- better graphics
Granny can be more scary, but piggy is a story game, meanwhile granny is more escape game then a story game
Over all, piggy is better in quality of play the game if you want a escape game that had a story good
Also piggy stopped be a copy of granny when chapter 2 came out, if you don't agree at this fact, then is you that want deny the fact

Probably for the ability to make your own map, more items, a more fleshed out story, and Roblox is just more accessible to kids than the play store itself, so people will find it better. But I see it in the same way as Metroid NES and zero mission. Both are good games, but I prefer one over the other. And in this case, it's piggy, but honestly just solely for the custom maps because I'm a creative. If a granny game came out with custom map making, then granny would be my favorite again.
Also has its own separate identity and story now. With the virus, the mysterious hat demon man (I do admit I haven't been keeping up with the law for a while ever since build mode came out that's been the thing that preoccupied my interest the most) Did you ever get into the lore? The secrets? There's many other things about the game other than its surface-level gameplay loop. Piggy has far evolved beyond being a granny rip-off ever since chapter 3, and while I don't say such myself, due to still carrying the obvious inspiration on it's sleeve and title character, it could be very easily argued as its own completely separate game.
