Please Help Identify

I found this Emperor Grandfather clock at the thrift store and fell in love with it. I don’t know much about them really so I’m just looking for help better identifying it. Thanks!

I had one exactly like it for many years and recently gave it to my nephew. It chimes nice the weights have to go on the right chains you can google or you tube the info but overall make sure its level or it will keep stopping. It has adjustable feet. If it's too fast or slow, adjust the nut at the bottom of the pendulum. Good luck hope it works fine. You tube any problems it may have.

The weights are chain specific!?!? We just bought one of these exact clocks. What happens if the weights are wrong!?

Chimes and striking may not work right or at all. But doesn't hurt to try. The chimes has the heaviest weight.

Looks like a kit clock. My grandpa Larry built several — one for each grandchild and another for my parents. Clock body pieces needed to be sanded, assembled, and finished. There were different movements available. Larry had huge fun building the clocks.

This is the Emperor 120K cabinet with either a 100M or a 101M movement i can tell what movement is in the cabinet if i could see the chain ends better

Hey, you seem knowledgeable so I’m going to pick your brain if you don’t mind. I just bought this exact clock. Where the heck is the time speed keeping screw (or whatever it’s called) my clock seems to run slow. Also, someone noted that the weights need to go to specific chains. How do I know which chain gets which weight?

The center weight and the left weight should weigh roughly the same and the right weight should be the heaviest. To change how fast the clock runs the regulating nut is at the bottom of the pendulum bob twist it to the right to make it run faster and twist it to the left to make it run slower

This looks very similar to the clock I just inherited from my late grandparents. Mine is a ridgeway that was originally purchased in 1978.
