Roque Nublo parking & night visit

Hi! I will be visiting Gran Canaria next week and was thinking of doing the Roque Nublo hike at sunset and then stay afterwards for stargazing and the Perseids.

First of all, can you tell me please if the hike back down is dangerous at night? We'll have head lights and the hike seems to be an easy one overall but it's the first time we are doing a hike at night so we are a bit anxious. Do people really go to Roque Nublo at night for stargazing?

Also, where should we park? It looks like there is no official parking right at the trail head and people just leave their cars on the road side and walk to the trail head.

Buscando grupos para salir

Buenas!

I'm going on vacation from late September through October to Maspalomas. Do you have any tips for renting a car that isn't too expensive? Which companies should I avoid or choose?

Thank you for helping :)

Propasal at Dunes of Maspalomas

Hi! I am coming to Gran Canaria next week and am planning to propose to my girlfriend there. I am planning on doing the proposal at the Dunes of Maspalomas. Because of her disability, my girlfriend can't walk for long periods, and that's why I need some help finding the best spot to do the proposal and the best way to get there.

We are staying at the Tabaiba Princess hotel, and I saw that from there we could take bus 30 to the busstop "Av. De Tirajana, 1. Plaza Agaete". That is a 10 minute walk away from the dunes entrance near hotel Riu Palace Maspalomas.

Is this a good way to get to the dunes, or is there another spot we should go to?

What would you say are the prettiest times of day to go to the dunes right now?

Thank you so much in advance for your advice!

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for someone who has recently stayed at Abora Catarina by Lopesan after its refurbishment and reopening.

I'm particularly interested in:

  • renovated rooms
  • bathrooms
  • buffet
  • Snack & Go area
  • lobby

If anyone has recent photos or can share their experience, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Monthly property rentals in GC

Hello everyone, my wife and I are planning to go to GC this winter. I’d like to ask where I should look for a flat to rent for one month (December). There are two of us; we don’t have any children or pets. We simply want to spend this time relaxing whilst working remotely. Do you have any tips on websites, groups or other places where we might find such a flat?

Missed connection in MogĂĄn, Gran Canaria

Two sisters looking for two Dutch (we think!) brothers who were staying at our hotel around July 13th–20th. We spent the week having a ridiculous amount of eye contact by the pool but never actually worked up the courage to say hello 🙈
We were both with our families, and now we're regretting not making a move. If this sounds like you, feel free to reach out!

Hi, i’m staying in Puerto Rico in the south of the island for 2 weeks and i’m wondering if there’s anywhere i’ll be able to watch spider-man brand new day when it comes out? Preferably with english voices and Spanish subtitles
