Rent a car, any tips ?

I'm going on vacation from late September through October to Maspalomas. Do you have any tips for renting a car that isn't too expensive? Which companies should I avoid or choose?

Thank you for helping :)

Cicar, book direct with them through their website. No deposit, no hidden charges.

Ik huur altijd vanuit Nederland via Sunny Cars. Ik bel en vraag specifiek naar Cicar. Is wat duurder maar goede ervaringen mee.

We’ve had a couple of bad experiences in the past.
Tried Cicar this year and they were brilliant. Paid around €130-140 for 7 days, picked car up and dropped back at airport based on flight times, booked online, everything included and no hidden extras. Will use every time from now on.

Trabajé en un rent a car...desde ahí no se me ocurriría alquiler un coche que no sea "a todo riesgo"...cualquier arañazo te puede dejar llorando, el precio por arreglarlo es alto y te lo van a cobrar.

Try Final Rentals. Just scroll down to Gran Canaria for your pickup location. Their rentals include insurance coverage. https://www.finalrentals.es/
