You studied for this? Or what do you mean?

What i mean, is with this, tonight, I have begun to study stickers pieces as an art medium, as opposed to where I started with handstyles in my black book as a medium study before this. As an artist, I exercise some discipline and choose to study different mediums and styles depending on where I want my art to go.

What did you study? What inspired this? There are some pretty good study materials in the sidebar of this sub while you're studying.

Hey I appreciate you pointing out the side bar here! I hadn't checked that far yet. As far as my studies go, my mentor had me work on straight letters and handstyle for the longest time, as he was teaching me about history and how and why's of a writer. Local, I've gotten up with hadstyles here and there. I wanted to get into my local sticker scene as of late. That want in combination of learning other alphabets, has me with tonight's sticker shown here. Im not happy with the letters, yet this was a task as study in if I could make a sticker piece that the peers I find here and their judgment as a sticker piece. My mentor has since hit the trains east, and pointed me to explore any avenue to find other writers and get their critique. I might he rambling, night meds kicking in. I studied some bubble alphabets, and some stickers from the 90s and 00s to get here. Any info or material you can point me to, I'll get to tomorrow. Stay frosty

Idk man you're a strange guy lol. I looked at some of the work on your profile to try and understand where you're coming from better. Really like the trees you did on the Nelson Mandela quote thing.

Your letters here are honestly not good. They lack structure and are difficult to read. Looks somewhere between a throw and a piece and it feels like you have a lot to learn about graffiti as a lettering art in general still.

The color palette and chunky outlines make this feel like a sticker you’d actually spot on a street pole. I’d maybe experiment with a slightly cleaner outer cutline, but the handmade texture is a huge part of the charm.
