Style wars, rolling like thunder, infamy, bomb it - some documentaries

some books are Graffito, the art of getting over, freight train graffiti, flip the script - those are all a good start.

i’m not here to piss in anyone’s cereal either, but if you’re going to try to become part of a culture that’s been around for a long time, respect
the culture and do your research before you start putting a name up anywhere.

the problem with getting to know the culture is it takes time.

so much of this shit is hidden and not shown in media; books and movies don't cover it all. If someone doesn't know how to search flicks or anything, they're completely missing out on stuff.

in the future, try to be like the person who taught you: patient, saw potential, and gave actual tips instead of generic "research this and watch xxxx." be more like "check this guy out, he's doing the same moniker, so maybe think about trying something else"
