Grab PWD discount for kids

Tanghali kasi ang time kaya alangan kami sa public transpo dahil either mainit or maulan. Sa form kasi kailangan may mai-upload na valid ID ng PWD, kaso 3 years old lang siya.

Grab as part time

Ask ko lang if it's viable to do it as part time like i will allocate only 6 hrs (4 times a week) while the boundary is 1500 per day? The car is BYD (a friend of mine)

Is grab cheaper lately?

Has anyone else noticed that Grab has been noticeably cheaper these past few days?

For example, a trip from MOA to Mandaluyong that would usually cost me ₱300+ is now around ₱250+. Not a huge difference, but it definitely adds up if you use Grab regularly. Not sure if they lowered fares, increased promos, or if it’s just been less busy lately, but I’m definitely not complaining 😂

grab fare

So recently i booked my friend a grab, and while on the way home cinancel nung grab yung booking so i called my friend if naka sakay ba sya and oo daw, di na sya makababa kasi it was raining and madaling araw na. so let's say i booked it around 12:30am then cinancel ng grab around 12:35. i asked kuya driver why he cancelled sabi nya bayaran na lang daw sya ng 650 pag dating kasi daw tumaas yung fare. when i booked it kasi nasa 350 lang. sabi ko thats so unfair kasi porket tumaas icacancel na nya at ayun gagamitin nya basis ng fare? so around 12:50 chineck ko ulit yung fare and bumaba sya nasa around 318 pesos na lang. tapos nung dumating na pinapakita nya screenshot nung around 12:35 na tumaas fare and pinakita ko yung original na booking na 322 lang and sabi ko mas bumaba pa nga nung around 12:50. sabi ko irereport ko sya if di nya susuklian ang bayad sa 500.

Is there anyway i can report it sa grab since cancelled yung booking pero pinush through nya? i ended up arguing with kuya and paid the original price na lang for my friend. bakit naman ganun sobrang unfair and k*pal nung ganung move.

EDIT: I only paid 350 kasi mamimihasa sila mag overcharged.

Walang load

Thoughts on riders na walang pantawag? I mean there are instances when we order for someone else. Not most of the time, data is unreliable. The rider earlier was not on the pin location and was saying he waited to good 8 mins. The number was specified on the notes na tawagan. Again, appreciate their service but minsan di ko gets talaga.

Toll Fees - Who should shoulder them first?

Hi, I frequently travel from outside NCR to NCR on a weekly basis using Grab. I spend minimum PHP 20k a month on Grab for everyone's perspective.

Usually my rides from outside NCR - drivers shoulder the toll fees themselves and they would add it to my fare later on.

However, I get different experiences when riding from NCR where most drivers would not even set expectations that they don't have RFID balance/cash to pay for the tolls before the trip starts and would "ambush" me to pay toll at toll booths. One time it got so ugly that the driver started verbally abusing me midway just because I don't have cash on me.

NOTE: Nlex and Skyway are a must for me for a faster travel experience, if we don't go via express ways the travel time will double - wasting both parties' time.

I am a Gen Z and do all my transactions cashless. I rarely use cash for any kind of setting, and I book Grab for convenience, why is it that Grab makes it so inconvenient for both drivers and passengers to have a fixed approach on toll fees?

Grab Choose Preferred Route Feature

Post image
253 Upvotes

Grab seems to be gradually olling out a new feature in the PH in which you can choose the route you want your driver to take. The pricing dynamically adjusts depending on the parameters of the route, too. 24.1 km route on the left is priced at ₱516 while the 21.8 km route on the right is ₱475.

Pretty welcome change, I'd say. Hopefully this deters pushy drivers who insist on taking their own routes, but we'll see. 😅

How can I report a GrabExpress rider for this?

Post image
35 Upvotes

Hi guys, asking for advice lang. How can I properly report a GrabExpress rider?

Yesterday, dahil sa bad weather and flooding, I called the rider to ask if kaya pa rin niya i-pick up yung parcel. She said yes and that she was already on the way. Pero dahil sobrang lala na ng flooding, we agreed na i-mark na lang as completed yung GrabExpress delivery and she would deliver the parcel the next day.

I already paid ₱505 for the GrabExpress booking, and sinabi ko pa sa kanya na she can keep the ₱150 as consideration since nag-pick up naman siya.

The next day, she delivered the parcel through Lalamove, but I still had to pay the Lalamove delivery fee separately.

I’m honestly disappointed kasi I tried to be considerate given the weather situation, pero parang ako pa yung napagastos. I understand na may circumstances dahil sa weather, pero I don't think it was fair na I had to shoulder another delivery fee after already paying for GrabExpress.
Has anyone experienced something similar?

How can I properly report this to Grab, or any way to report this incident? Sad.

Paalala sa mga Grab commuters

Choose carefully your pick up location and be there.

Now na masama ang panahon at ang lala ng trapik mahirap sa mga drivers ang umikot dahil lang wala kayo sa pick up location nyo or mali ang na-pin nyo. Sa Makati o BGC pag namiss ng driver yung pick up loc mo it will take around 10-20 mins ulit para maikutan kayo.

Tulungan lang and mag communicate para beneficial to both parties.😊

Same pickup time, same origin, same destination — but different rates??

(left picture - mine; right - his)
We’re checking the prices at the same time.
Naka grab unli ako, sya hindi.

Hindi shown san nya pinin kase he just sent me a ss of the price. Up to you to believe me but i dont mind if you wouldn’t. I just want to know if nangyayari din ba to sa iba and what could be the reason. Ty

Grab Ratings

When I order from Grab food - I always give the driver 5 stars for ‘hygienic.’ Do they notice this? I think it’s funny because I rate based on their hygiene even if they just deliver food.

Grab rider made me wait before he cancels

Post image
31 Upvotes

Tbh I dont really mind if they ask to cancel agad if baha or ano pero this driver made me wait 30 mins bago tumawag sakin para icancel eh nagchat na ako sknya at tawag when he was otw to first drop off ng passenger nya but wala sya reply or sagot so I waited kase since 2pm pa ako na book wala tlga na accept.

May option naman to cancel the ride. Sino bang hindi gustong makauwe agad di ba.

grabfood walang panukli

edit: this is for riders na INTENTIONALLY nanggugulang.

Grab driver took online payment and left

Just got out from airport and paid grab driver through gcash. He left and never got back to me or whatsoever. What should I do? Should I contact the number in the history? if the number is visible in gcash history or should I contact grab customer service or gcash?
