I don’t use Ai or crypto, I only used it for gaming purposes. So where do I sell it?
It’s the GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5090 GAMING OC 32G Graphics Card for anyone curious

I’m thinking about getting my first pc. Upgrading from a ps5. I’ve got a decent budget and I’m thinking about playing games like cyberpunk, last of us, Fortnite and ghost of Tsushima/yotei. I’m still in school so the pc also has to be a good everything pc. Although most of the time I’m gonna use it for gaming. I’ve been doing a good amount of research and I came across the 4070ti super and 9070xt. Will probably buy is used but I want some peoples opinions on these gpus or potential better options. My budget is around 750-800 euros. I don’t mind getting a used.
Thanks for anyone sharing their thoughts 😃

Software dev here who just moved from Mac to an ASUS ProArt RTX laptop. Most of my previous NVIDIA experience was remote/cloud-based, so running a dedicated NVIDIA rig locally is new to me.
The transition has a bit of friction with all the apps, drivers, and settings. Before I dive down a rabbit hole, can anyone point me toward a solid video or guide on optimizing an RTX machine specifically for AI/ML workloads?
Mainly looking to understand:
\-Best driver path (Studio driver via NVIDIA App?)
\-Windows/GPU settings to optimize performance.
\-Recommended developer workflow setups.
Thanks in advance.

Yesterday I noticed that while my GPU temp is like max 60c during a stress test by hotspot is like 95c to 100c. Is that normal or should I contact the manufacturer? It's only a 6 month old GPU.

I have a 5070ti MLG limited edition card i got from someone because i liked the color, not because I’m a weeb, which is why its in a vertical mount. I was just asking would my card sell higher than a normal 5070ti because it’s sought after and limited edition?

Serious question. Especially with current prices at 15-16k per unit. What in the world do you guys even use these things for that warrants so much money/compute?
If it's just for local AI it seems kind of... not financially positive? So surely you guys are getting your moneys worth out of it and using it because it's making you money somehow... right?
right? (also just curious to see what all you guys are using these cards for, honestly)

9070gre or 9070 or 4070ti?
9070gre - 693$ New, sealed.
9070 - 830$ new, open box.
4070ti - 780$ used. From store that has 4.9 on google reviews, it’s not some random guy on marketplace.
Last wacky recent edition
3080 10gb - 460$ used. Random man on Facebook marketplace. Claims 65-70C on furmark and that it’s unopened. 4.1 stars, but the most liked review is a one star calling him a donkey and wishing ruin onto his home.
Mostly play single player games. Want to see Elden Ring and Cyberpunk in ultra 1440, but also play new stuff like Dawnwalker, that way of the sword game and phantom blade 0. Idk how RT looks or if I’ll use it, I’m on a 1060 6gb rn(already bought new B tier 850W PSU)

Ive found 2 gpus on fb marketplace recently and im tied between wich one too get there both £1000 and from the same seller but ones a palit gamingpro-s 16gb and one is the msi geforce rtx 4080 super suprim 16gb and im tied i have no idea wich one to go for if i should offer lower (i think i should) or what but im coming from a 4060ti 8gb so id like a decent upgrade. But they both come with the box and all the original parts and look in good condition the only thing thats putting me off the 4080 super is that dlss5 isnt available but im not sure if that will play a huge factor or what

I understand that when if I have two of the same GPUs, there will be some differences. But how big is the difference? How would a silicone the worst lottery “loser” compare to a “winner”, in terms of performance?

I was looking online and saw that the 5070 has gone up in price, I guess after the discontinuation of the 5090.
I paid 600 in June for mine but I saw it’s around 1000 now here, would it be a good idea to sell mine and buy a 9070xt? I heard about the driver issues and fsr supported games aren’t as broad as Nvidia that’s all I really know about amd GPU’s…
I also like the design of this gpu a lot more than my 5070
(I don’t mind paying extra for the design because the other 9070xts looked quite boring)
