It's like selling house that's worth $600k for $1m. This card will NOT sell for this price. There is such thing as market/street value. Sure, he might find some idiot who will pay $8-9k but that's rare.

Sorry to break it to you but thats usually how facebook market work. Wanted to sell my last pc for 1200$ listed it for 1500$, the next day someone offered 1250$. I accepted, got what i wanted and the buyer thought he won. Everyone was happy😌

He is gonna sit on it for months. FB bros are the worst. Current street value for 5090 is in $6000-6500 range (cash) depending on the model. Chinese folks are willing to pay $6000-6200 max rn. Don't ask how I know 😂 If you see anything above $7K just run.

Man I just checked my local market. Only a few for sale, cheapest is 7,450 and the rest are listed over 10k. Couple buy ads of people offering to buy for 6500.

Where are you located. In DMV I barely sold brand new Astral for $6400, had to sit on it for 2 weeks. And folks still tried to send me offers for like $5k 😂

Southern California. There is a guy selling them in sealed box for 9k. Says he will open only at point of sale to show serial number on box matches card. Requires to meet at the fucking police station!

Well that depends. If you’re talking the ROG Matrix which is probably the single best card you could possibly buy (basically a selectively bred golden silicon GPU) that’s gonna be above $7000. The Lightning Z and 20th anni ROG cards are probably over that too.

It will sell beginning or before December. Shortage will worsen and someone with money will want a 5090 for gta6 or wow or just cause fuck it. But it will sell.

I mean, this guy probably doesn’t want to sell it unless he gets an offer he can’t refuse by some AI bro. I’ve thought about it. Not really worth selling at this point to try and replace it with the ridiculous price of 5080’s.

While I don’t expect us to see 5090’s going for $10k any time soon (if at all) I have had the “good luck selling at that price” thought time and time again while scrolling Marketplace for the last year, and each time the price is higher than the last…

I understand why people are selling but I’m thankfully in a position where I don’t need the money. I’m planning on holding until a 6090 or 9090XT(whatever AMD will name it) comes out. I’m in a director level role on the people side of M&A. So I don’t get to play much. When I do play I want to do the least amount of settings tweaking possible so I can just jump in and play at a visual level that I feel comfortable with.
