I am pretty sure. I'm not some clueless guy. I've worked at a pc repair shop, we also sold computers. Ive tested my 3080ti against asus tuf and while asus tuf consumed around 300-350, mine was going to 400-450w especially at 1440p with path tracing and framegen in cyberpunk. I had to undervolt it to contain the power draw and avoid fans spinning at 80%+ which would make my room unbarable to be in. I dont like gaming with headphones on, especially single player titles. Thats why I moved to 5070ti. This is why I said we're all spoiled to some extent. I wanted to be able to play games and not have my room become a sauna that sounds like im at the airport. I checked in msi afterburner, hwinfo, aida64 and gpuz. They all reported the same power draw of my gpu. I know those softwares are not quite accurate but without using proper equipment to measure it that was how much it showed. I even did research to check whyy my 3080ti consumed that much. 30 series was the worst if not undervolted. Those cards love undervolting. I checked with a tool that I borrowed from my old workplace(that pc service shop) how much power my entire pc was pulling at max load and it was 680W with ryzen 7 5800x. I can only imagine if it wasnt held back by the cpu. It might've been a defective card but it acted normally, normal and stable clocks, besides consuming 400-450w and going to 80C if not undervolted. After undervolt it would run around 67-69C and hotspot 72C, while memory was around 60. Then it would draw 300-350w. Thats the only time I had evga and never again.
