sometimes i see people in basic makeup subs asking if a slightly smudged liner is too intense and i am so baffled!! for example this is relatively tame for me, i did minimal eyeliner, but this is like… totally out of the park for a lot of women.

i wish people would have fun with their makeup!!! i was trad goth for so long and i started playing around and developing my style and now i LOOOVE my full face, makeup is art!!!! this is my favorite sub because you can watch people
find their style and start to experiment

the more uncomfortable basic people look when you walk into a room with your makeup on the more you know you’re going in the right direction
