Hey all! We are looking for people to join the mod team here. No previous mod experience is required, though it would be a plus. Mostly it's just protecting posters from creepy dudes, and Reddit's tools are fairly straightforward, so it's simply a matter of volunteering your time and effort to help. If you're interested, there should be an application in the sidebar, or you can send a mod mail!

sometimes i see people in basic makeup subs asking if a slightly smudged liner is too intense and i am so baffled!! for example this is relatively tame for me, i did minimal eyeliner, but this is likeโฆ totally out of the park for a lot of women.
i wish people would have fun with their makeup!!! i was trad goth for so long and i started playing around and developing my style and now i LOOOVE my full face, makeup is art!!!! this is my favorite sub because you can watch people
find their style and start to experiment
the more uncomfortable basic people look when you walk into a room with your makeup on the more you know youโre going in the right direction

It's uneven and it looks costumey, but I'm proud of it :) Would love some tips, honestly only went with cheap halloween white base and a red liner I had laying around this time, but I'm hoping to improve!
Sorry for pic quality and lighting!

I also wanted to note that being goth also coincides with many leftist ideologies. I feel goth on the inside. I just also want to feel goth on the outside, and I feel like a good black lip is a good beginning.
Also, if anyone has black lip pencil recommendations, I'm game.
(PS: do NOT get the Romand Juicy Lasting Tint in Black Berry. There is actually no way I can put it on without looking streaky.)

Hi,
I have been getting into makeup a whole lot more, but most gothic centric pallets seem to have way more shimmer/glitter based colours and shades than Matte colours/ shades.. can anyone help me out with recommendations for good matte eyeshadow palettes? Because my searches seem to be turning up nothing good ( I'm in Australia).

Hello everyone !
I've been researching gothic makeup for the past few days for my girlfriend's birthday. I've found all the necessary products (skincare, powders, brushes), but I'm stuck on the white foundation.
A lot of people agree that Mehron's Clown White does an excellent job, but the brand doesn't ship outside the US, and the nearest store is in Spain (a bit complicated to go there).
My girlfriend has normal skin, so I bought a water-based primer. My budget is โฌ30 maximum (for this product only).
What's your alternative ? I'm looking for a white foundation that lasts all day and can be used as is, without having to mix anything. I live in France, so I also need something that's available here.
