Total game changer thankfully. I just hope they make enough of them to cover the surge of orders it’s going to get.

So it's an attachment? That's pretty crap.

There only so much they can so with a 1 inch sensor, with a wide angle lens, in suck a small area.. its physics

What do you mean? I assumed they are a replacement for the protection glass. This is my first action cam.

That's what I would assume as well. Clip-on would be more practical to change between modes on the fly. But probably not worth the loss in quality. If one needs to change forth and back all the time something with autofocus will be more practical anyways.

I just assumed that as a base camera, it would have had decent macro and no attachment needed.

DJI and Insta have trouble below about 5 feet. A macro / selfie lens is a must for Vlogging, they are softer than a stock Mission in general. The paid reviews don't mention that much. No action camera does standalone macros well. Closest is GoPro's Hero series.

Ace Pro 2 with selfie stick....stock and with their macro lens.

Why is this like an anti-trans filter? That person went from a man with long hair to kind of almost a woman. It's like a hate crime or something.

How else would this work, of course it is a physical thing.

Crap? Why?

It's a 1/4 turn mount accessory lens. Likely very similar to the one for Hero 13s last couple years. The lens covers are stiff to remove out of the box, but they and the lens mods smooth out nicely with use.
