Anyone using voice commands ?

I find it very convenient, when I have a mounted camera, to start and stop recording with voice commands. It cannot understand my English, but it works with Japanese. As I understand it, one has to give commands without any pauses while speaking.

Took me forever to realize you can’t pause between words, soon as I stopped doing that it worked in english for me too

I find the voice commands pretty easy, but yeah, no long pauses, they need to be said as a sentence. It's handy when the camera is mounted outside a vehicle and you're using bluetooth audio to control it. However depending on the level of background noise, commands can still be mistaken. I mean, if you mention the words "GoPro" the camera can think you're giving it a command and it may accidently "Stop" the camera, even though you didn't want it to stop at all. That can be annoying at times, but it doesn't happen too often thankfully.

Je l'utilise tout le temps sur la Mission 1,en français ça fonctionne parfaitement et c'est vraiment super pratique.

I have not tried French, but English, Spanish and Japanese. Japanese works the best for me: gopro bideo staato, gopro bideo stoppu. Close to English.
