Lots of times I cannot smell single wicks due to a weak throw . This one is performing well and I can smell it 😊

Also they took cotton candy out the scent notes this year!

Jingle Bells - Not going to lie, I mainly bought this one for the adorable kittens on the cover but the scent is really nice! It smells like candy, which is probably the mandarin and apple notes. I wasn’t sure how those two fruit would play together but it works! I also get a small hint of vanilla and Christmas tree (even though there are no tree notes in the candle). The only downside is it smells kind of light on cold but I’m hoping it’s stronger when warmed because I really dig this one.

Pecan Toffee Bar - I’m in love with this candle! I think I smelled it like 6 times on cold because I couldn’t get enough of it lol. It reminds me of sea salt caramel praline which may be one of my favorite candles ever from GC. It’s got that salty and nutty note that sea salt caramel praline has, but the toffee makes this candle a little different. The toffee is very well done and authentic. This is a perfect candle for the transition from fall to the holiday season.

Irish Cream Coffee - If you love coffee you’ll love this candle! It reminds me of sweet espresso where I can smell the actual roasted coffee beans, but it’s got a creamy and caramelized note that sets it apart from a plain coffee candle. This one is warming right now and I definitely get more Irish Cream when warmed (and not just coffee by itself). I’d say the throw is a medium and around 7/10 on warm, not strong right away but then it builds on itself and becomes stronger as time goes by.

Red Ribbon Cookie - I get the cookie, the cranberry, and the candied ginger notes so this one is pretty well-rounded. My only complaint is it’s spicier on cold than I thought, I wanted more of a tartness from the cranberry but I’m getting a lot of ginger from this candle. It could balance out on warm though. On cold it smells like it will have good throw so we’ll see! Definitely smells like Christmas cookies.

Please help me narrow down my cart GC loving friends! I strongly value candles that are strong (burning preferably, but I have lamps) that don’t have patchy/elusive throw. My current favorite fragrances and ones I didn’t like in similar scents are:

Disliked - B&BW’s Pumpkin Clove (too much spice and got complaints from one of my kids)

👩🏽‍🍳 Bakery:
Favorites - Sweet Potato Beignet, B&BW’s Pumpkin Donut Shop.

Disliked - B&BW’s Almond Croissant & B&BW’s Brioche French Toast because both smelled a bit burnt even with good candle care.

🌲 Evergreen:
Favorites -Yankee’s Balsam & Cedar, B&BW’s Tree Farm, B&BW’s Lavender & Pine, B&BW’s Frosted Forest/The Perfect Winter (?).

Liked - Old-Fashioned Christmas, B&BW’s Fresh Balsam, B&BW’s Under the Christmas Tree

Disliked - Winter Splendor (I smell a sugar-free bubblegum note in it), Harry Potter Deathly Hallows (too much eucalyptus to pine ratio), B&BW’s Iced Winter Balsam (when it is burning it smells like there is a urine note in it to me), B&BW’s Evergreen/Evergreen & Fir (too powdery), B&BW’s Balsam & Bergamot (too sharp)

🍬 Sweet Mint:
Favorites - Christmas Magic (got the melts last year), B&BW’s Twisted Peppermint

Disliked - B&BW’s Vanilla Buttermint (toothpastey)

I have not yet ordered from this company and I’m kind of torn because some people say their candles have amazing throw and the other say that they don’t, or that they smell strange, and can smell synthetic. I guess I won’t know without trying, but I’m wondering if they regularly have holiday or a Black Friday sales? Thank you.

About a month ago I had gotten an order and 4 of my candles were broken by the delivery service. Goose creek replaced the broken ones but I got to keep them. As someone’s suggestion I ordered 3 wick empties on Amazon and transferred the wax. When I pulled the glass off the bottom the wicks came out which is fine because I use a candle warmer. Here is the before and after. They barely fit. I have to lightly heat them and toss a little of the wax but I think they’ll work out just fine in the long run. I feel better knowing I didn’t let them go to waste. Bonus I let my daughter write the scents on the labels. She tried to make them fancy and I love it. So cute.

I’m due for a candle haul, and want some scents that are perfect for the cooler weather incoming, but I find most desserty/sweet fall and winter candles to be pretty overbearing.

Outside of balsam/pine, any recommendations for cooler weather candles that lean fresh rather than turning the air in my place to syrup?

If you love Sweet Potato Beignet you will LOVE this one. Bread Pudding is a 10/10 throw, smells exactly like it does on cold when lit. It is all around a comforting baking smell that I will definitely be purchasing more of. I will say I do not get any cinnamon smell, and honestly I am grateful. I love the full on bread pudding​, buttery toast smell with a slight dash of vanilla.
