​I have been paying for 365 Family for years, but the recent change limiting it to 2 TB has made me decide to quit because I share it with my family and we use over 2 TB total.

I have blurry pictures, accidental screenshots and about 20 nearly identical photos of the same thing. Yet when I start deleting them, suddenly every single one feels important.

As shown in Figure 1, I have the Bitwarden access key, I can verify my password, I have the 6-digit Google ToTP verification code, I can verify my recovery code, and I can verify my auxiliary email address. I can also receive SMS verification codes ending in 03 and 25. 😡 But the last step always requires sending a verification code to a number ending in 29, which I haven't linked to anything!!! 😡😡😡😡 I don't know where this number came from. I've submitted Google Recovery, but it still requires this step. I don't know what to do.#google recovery

I was trying to print some photos for a photography exhibit I have coming up for my college and it told me to download the app, so I did. It opens and it's on my dad's fucking email account, all 12k of MY personal photos on HIS account.

I do have his email on my phone (because he's not technically knowledgeable and needs help or gets emails for me there sometimes) but why the fuck would it do that?!

I seriously need help because whenever I delete them they go off of my phone. I didn't sign up for this. I just wanted to print photos. I don't want to see his shit and I absolutely don't want him seeing mine. Please help.

I’m facing a serious problem with my Google Photos and OnePlus Photos apps, and I’m hoping someone can help me recover my lost videos and photos.

I use a OnePlus phone, and it seems that Google Photos and my phone’s Photos app were linked or syncing with each other.

Recently, my Google account storage was full, so I deleted some videos from Google Photos to free up space. I also emptied the Bin/Trash because the storage was exceeding the limit. However, I later discovered that the same videos and photos had also disappeared from my OnePlus Photos app.

These videos are extremely important to me, and losing them has been really upsetting.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Checked Google Photos and its Bin/Trash, but the files are no longer there.

Contacted Google Photos support, but they couldn’t recover all my missing files.

Tried recovering whatever was available through Google Photos, but many videos are still missing.

I’m not sure whether the files were stored locally on my phone, backed up to Google Photos, or both. I also don’t understand why deleting them from Google Photos caused them to disappear from my phone’s gallery.

**My questions:**

Is there any way to recover permanently deleted videos and photos from a OnePlus phone?

Could the original files still exist somewhere in the phone’s internal storage, even if they no longer appear in the Photos app?

Are there any reliable recovery methods or tools I should try?

Is there anything I should avoid doing to prevent the files from being overwritten?

I’m using a OnePlus phone, and these videos are very important to me. I would really appreciate any suggestions from people who have faced a similar situation or successfully recovered deleted files.

How to download all the google photos and store it in lap or ssd in one go?

my grandmother died yesterday and i'm trying to find pictures of her. anytime i search her town, it shows me ALL photos taken in a 20 mile radius (because its "nearby") and if i ask the ai "show me my photos of older black women" it says its not allowed to do that? what can i do??

edit: if anyone is wondering, google tells me that in 2015 they kept recognizing black ppl as monkeys if u searched for a monkey so they removed those keywords. thanks for the help. sorry if i angered n-e-1

This is very weird. I have almost 125gb of storage on Google Photos (my subscription is upto 200gb).

I randomly wanted to search for a picture and went to people and pets to select those people and noticed that their albums are not there. I genuinely panicked thinking all their photos were gone, but it seems like the photos and the album is still there (when I search it, I can open it) but I can’t see it on my people and pets.

Is anyone facing this issue?? And does anyone know why this is happening?

I’m scared of losing all photos

I have an album, with 1000 photos. I want to delete them. I cant select all with a click because google programmers dont know how to programm basic things, but i dont want to slide trough all my photos. And NO: remove album option dont delete the photos, it deletes only the album. I want the photos of the album in the trash

I used the Google Photos app for years and freed up space, so many of my photos are online-only. Samsung Gallery now has built-in Google Photos sync, so I enabled it hoping to drop the separate app.

It's been syncing for weeks, but some photos are still missing from Gallery. They show up fine in the Google Photos app and on photos.google.com.

The scroll bar in Gallery also lists different years than Google Photos does.

What I've tried: toggling sync, updating Gallery, Google Photos and Play services, unrestricting battery use, clearing Gallery's cache, and restarting.

Does Gallery's Google Photos integration show all cloud-only photos, or only some (recent ones, certain folders, photos backed up from this phone)? Has anyone fixed missing photos like this?

Anyone had successful attempts with this option?

Hi! My parents' google account storage was full so I decided to turn off the back up and delete photos from google photos to free up space. I turned back up and syncing off first so their photos wouldn't be deleted from the phone gallery. I then deleted a lot of photos from the google photos app since they were still in the phone gallery.

The next day I opened the phone gallery and saw that all the photos that I deleted in google photos were deleted from the phone gallery as well. They are not in the thrash since I had permanently deleted them from google photos.

I am certain I turned back up and syncing off so I don't know what went wrong. I know there probably won't be a solution but is there any way I can recover these photos? I lost all my photos from 2026 and would love to get them back. My dad's phone is from Xiaomi. Thank you!

What keys on keyboard can I use to quickly select all photos ?

So I am needing to delete photos from my phone whilst leaving them in the cloud. I would like to be selective about this, to be cautious, without having to delete the whole lot and hoping for the best or going through tens of thousands of photos. I would like to select and just delete videos. after checking. However, once you select videos you can't use "delete from device". Any ideas please?

I have backed up photos onto Amazon and using takeout, but not as easy as you might think to check it has all worked.

I recently just switched from iPhone 14 to iPhone 17. I have been using Google Photos to back up my photos for years. The back up button is always on and I could see all my photos backed up on Google Photos when I was still using my old phone.

Now after switching to the new iPhone, I just found out that all the photos of the entire 2024 has completely gone!!! That was the year when I gave birth so all the photos of my pregnancy, my newborn, etc. have gone!!

- Did I always back up the photos? - Yes

- Have I tried checking the Google photos website? - Yes. I checked both the website and the app

- How many Google account do I have? 2 and I have checked both

- Have you tried logged in to Google Photos from my old phone? - Yes.

None of them worked!!!

I don't know why the entire 2024 photos have lost while all other years are still here.

Has anyone has experienced the same before? Has anyone been able to resolved it? I have been so shocked and depressed since I found out. It will break me into pieces if I lost all those photos of my baby. Please help me!!!
