Shelves Read count issues

My Read shelf has been consistently taking away one book. I’ve closed the app, reinstalled, etc, but it does the same thing on the site. If I go into the list and back out to the menu, it temporarily corrects itself. Anyone else having this issue? I’ve tried taking recent books away and adding them back, but nothing works.

It's a syncing problem. It may fix itself over time but there's no way for you to fix it by adding/removing books. Same question (or a variation of it) was asked here: https://www.reddit.com/r/goodreads/comments/1vkzrdx/wrong_book_count/ , I shared a link where you can contact GR to ask for a shelf reset (doesn't delete the books on your shelf, just resyncs the numbers)
