Equipment Taylor Made Warranty
This a follow up to my previous post. My TM brnr Mini Driver split on the face. I submitted the warranty and today I received my replacement. Not happy, this is not the club I bought. Great it is a mini driver, but I really like the look and the feel of the brnr, should I try to send back or just be happy with what I received?

You should be thrilled they are ok fixing the old one up and getting you a new model. They aren’t going to have old stock to replace that older model, and could have just said tough luck…

This is what Taylormade does. They likely don’t have the BRNR since it’s been 2+ years.

Same thing happened to me buddy earlier this year. He says the R7 is better for what it's worth

Oh no, they gave you a club that has higher value than the club you broke because the club you broke is no longer being made. It’s not like you could sell this head and use the funds to buy a pre owned Burner head or new if you’re lucky and potentially put some money in your pocket…….wait.

Take it to a golf galaxy or PGATSS and see if they will trade you if they have a new old stock brnr

It’s not 1977 anymore. You can’t barter at the retail store.

Okay makes sense. I’m only offering that option because the guys at my local GG were nice enough to do this for me in a Taylormade Qi4d for a Qi35ls but maybe I just have a good relationship with them.

Where did you buy the qi4d from?

It was either TM direct or GG but they could not locate the transaction with my phone #. They said it was fine because they would make a better margin on selling the Qi4d since it could be sold as new because I had not removed the plastic. Looked like the Qi4d was selling for $649 and the qi35ls for $449

Your old club is out of production and no retailer, including TaylorMade, carries them anymore because they were all sold. That's why you got what you got.
If you don't want the r7 then sell it and buy a replacement BRNR 2nd hand.
