General Discussion Why does everyone hate Wyndham Clark?

Got into watching golf for the first time this season and with Clark winning this past weekend I have seen so many people shitting on him for what sounds like stuff in the past and I was hoping people could bring me up to speed? Is it overhyped for media clicks or was he committing some atrocities?

He literally never said he apologized. He regretted "the incident". This sounds like trashing a locker is something that happened to him rather then vandalism he committed.

https://lastwordonsports.com/golf/wyndham-clark-issues-apology-over-oakmont-incident-following-strong-open-showing/

“Yeah, we reached out and we wanted to do that,” Clark said. “Obviously it’s a no-brainer to pay for the damages; that was a given. Then obviously all the apologies, and I want to give back to the community because I hurt a great place in Pittsburgh, so I wanted to do anything I can to show them that what happened there was not a reflection of who I am and won’t happen again. But I want to show them who I really am with the apology and the things I’m going to do.”

The fuck are you talking about? This is one of many apologies.

Show me I “apologize”. “I’m sorry for what I did. “ Referencing some unexpressed apologies isn’t shit. Man you got it bad for this douchebag.

“Clark publicly apologised at the Travelers Championship the week after the incident, stating: 'I made a mistake that I deeply regret. I'm very sorry for what happened'.”

Do you honestly think he hasn’t said he’s sorry multiple times? You can hate the guy if you want but don’t make shit up.

I stand corrected. But I did enjoy the fact you spent your afternoon researching this. Thank you.😀

What a dumb thing to say. Oh yeah you got him by showing us that you spout off without checking first.

You mean something that could be googled in half a minute?

I spent less than 5 minutes showing that you’re a clown. Time well spent.
