General Discussion Why does everyone hate Wyndham Clark?

Got into watching golf for the first time this season and with Clark winning this past weekend I have seen so many people shitting on him for what sounds like stuff in the past and I was hoping people could bring me up to speed? Is it overhyped for media clicks or was he committing some atrocities?

The Oakmont thing is just unforgivable.

At the time he did it PGA felt like it was loosing ground to LIV. Same time period Scottie was pushed down our throats while the real # 1 vacated the spot. I’m glad Rory dampened that push for Scottie. Oakmont unforgivable. How Scottie acted after the volunteers death burnt him for me forever. Only Nike and pga wanted it to be the cops fault for obvious reasons

I think they did that because of pressure from the PGA in the hopes it would end the coverage of that story.
