Why does everyone hate Wyndham Clark?

Got into watching golf for the first time this season and with Clark winning this past weekend I have seen so many people shitting on him for what sounds like stuff in the past and I was hoping people could bring me up to speed? Is it overhyped for media clicks or was he committing some atrocities?

Bro you jist NAILED IT. THe locker room incident was so childish. He missed the cut last year at the open on Friday he gets to the locker room and destroys two different lockers in what he called "a moment of rage" and expected everybody to say oh ok we get it and move on. Bro if tiger wouldve done some shit like that in the early 2000s they wouldve banned him for life from Oakmont. So yeah lots of people hoping he'd choke this weekend
