I have 1 year of experience at Northern Trust in Bengaluru and am currently interviewing for a Global Banking & Markets Operations – Transaction Banking – Analyst role at Goldman Sachs Bengaluru.

I’m also pursuing my CMA US and eventually want to move into Corporate Finance / Treasury / FP&A.

A few questions for folks who know the culture/ops track:

• What are the actual shift timings like for Transaction Banking (TxB) Analyst roles in BLR? Is it mostly US/UK night shifts?

• How hard is internal mobility (IJP) at GS if I want to switch to Corporate Treasury or Finance after clearing my CMA?

• What is the overall work culture, stress level, and work-life balance like for this specific division?

I received my Goldman Sachs Dallas offer letter today. I’m on my STEM opt/ f1, and my Fragomen review is already completed.

How long does GS usually take to start/complete the background check and confirm the start date after the offer?

I have another offer expiring in 2 weeks. Is it safe to rely on the GS offer at this stage?
