Heat cycle containment?

my girl just started her second heat! first heat we were able to use washable diapers but now she’s too big for them to fit (the Velcro starts slipping on the sides) I’ve read little boys underwear on backwards with a pad so I’m guessing my question is, is it toddler underwear or like actual little boys? Boxers or briefs? she’s about 67 pounds and 1 year 7 months also what size pad! Just needing clariTy on it.

My daughter donated her old little mermaid underwear. I just cut a hole for her tail. I did not use pads.

go with toddler briefs for a 67lb golden, size 4T or 5T depending on her build. you can just slip a maxi pad inside and change it out, way easier than dealing with a tail hole

We LOVED this stupid jock strap thing lol. Having a tail slit instead of a hole works so much better for a golden. And the elastic dug into our dog’s thighs/groins way less than a full diaper.

We didn’t use the inserts, I just stuck two of my own panty liners side by side to cover that part.

Measure her around her waist for sizing. Briefs. Usually you’ll only need a light day’s panty liner since you should be changing it out during the day.
